Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Tuned in for the last 15 minutes when Inter were trailing 1-2.

Vieira came on, and he seemed to spark Inter on.

Zlatan scored a cool penalty, and phenomenal third to win the game for Inter. He is class and unfortunately he has improved loads since playing for Juve under Capello. I hate Inter with a passion btw.

Good player but dont want him at United.

Better options out there.

like berbatov? :lol:

other than eto'o i struggle to think of a striker who is on the level of zlatan. He would be perfect for us, both in style, skills, and demeanor. (ferguson would be able to control him, but i dont think he would need to be controlled much since he is more mature now and playing in an extremely successful team)

He's the premier 6ft + striker out there. He can play as an out and out, as a forward, can also play as a wing forward. Hilarious

He's great. Can still be frustrating at times but some of the things he pulls off is just amazing. Glad to see him doing so well.

Always had undoubted talent, sometimes a player's mentality can let him/her down regardless of how immensely talented they are. He seems to have sorted that out now, unbelieveable. Awesome player!

Basically, Zlatan is to Berbatov what Rooney is to Tevez. As good as the Berbatov/Tevez player is, in a way they're the poor mans Zlatan/Rooney.

Ok, 'poor mans' might be a bit overboard considering Berbs will likely cost us 30m when we eventually get him and that Tevez will cost us something like 18m when we make his signing permanent. :lol:

But if you can't have the real thing, may as well have the next best thing. Or in the Rooney & Tevez combo, have both. :devil:

I'd say that Tevez > Rooney. But I agree that Berbatov is the poor man's Zlat

He's apparently on the brink of signing a 5-year-deal worth £150k a week.

Who's the current biggest earner?

I reckong Ballack, Terry and Shevchenko are up there. C.Ronaldo is on a 120k a week.

In Italy, the following players are highest paid:

Kaka = 6million euros per year
Buffon = 5.5 million
Totti = 5.5 million
Ibrahimovic = 5.5 million
Vieira = 5 million

One of the best strikers at the moment. I would really like him as a replacement for Saha, he is not injury prone and he will give us what we need in terms of finishing and impact on the defence.

Yep, and he'd only cost, I don't know, somewhere in the region of £80 million!

By the way, he is a bag of shit.

What the hell are you talking about ?

He is really a great striker, bad personnality sometimes, but still a very good striker. Of course he will be very expensive, but from all the strikers out there, he is the one with the most appropriate profile to match our needs. Berbatov is probably another good option, but Zlatan is way more stronger than him.

Zlatan a bag of shite? Get a grip you ignorant twats.

Went to Ajax, won the league
Went to Juventus, won the league
Went to Inter, won the league

I think he's been in the winning team in the domestic league for 6 years on the trot

i can't see Liverpool losing tomorrow.

they are just the team you'd fancy in this sort of situation with a goal or two to defend. Inter are known bottlers in Europe, and quite frankly, even when they were playing well, they were not a very inventive team. in fact, they were sort of like Liverpool of Chelsea of a few years ago.

the likes of Chiellini have kept Zlatan pretty quiet in the past. i can't see him getting a lot of change from a much more experienced Carragher.

Ibra is one of the best strikers in the world hands down, arguing otherwise is just stupid

Seconded.

Abit like Ronaldo then?

Ronaldo was a star in European and World Cup tournaments. He was a notable performer in the quarter finals of the Champions League last season and is this seasons tournament top scorer.

Ibrahimovic played like 'shit on a stick' at Anfield. Just as he has done on every occasion I have seen him outside of Serie A.
