other than eto'o i struggle to think of a striker who is on the level of zlatan. He would be perfect for us, both in style, skills, and demeanor. (ferguson would be able to control him, but i dont think he would need to be controlled much since he is more mature now and playing in an extremely successful team)

He's great. Can still be frustrating at times but some of the things he pulls off is just amazing. Glad to see him doing so well.

Like I'm you who only watches English football. PS: Berbatov didn't start his career in England...Always had undoubted talent, sometimes a player's mentality can let him/her down regardless of how immensely talented they are. He seems to have sorted that out now, unbelieveable. Awesome player!
Basically, Zlatan is to Berbatov what Rooney is to Tevez. As good as the Berbatov/Tevez player is, in a way they're the poor mans Zlatan/Rooney.
Ok, 'poor mans' might be a bit overboard considering Berbs will likely cost us 30m when we eventually get him and that Tevez will cost us something like 18m when we make his signing permanent.
But if you can't have the real thing, may as well have the next best thing. Or in the Rooney & Tevez combo, have both.

Great player but I don't consider as a winner when he was at Juventus because of the SCUM............................ but credit to him for his contribution.
One of the best strikers at the moment. I would really like him as a replacement for Saha, he is not injury prone and he will give us what we need in terms of finishing and impact on the defence.

He is really a great striker, bad personnality sometimes, but still a very good striker. Of course he will be very expensive, but from all the strikers out there, he is the one with the most appropriate profile to match our needs. Berbatov is probably another good option, but Zlatan is way more stronger than him.

the likes of Chiellini have kept Zlatan pretty quiet in the past. i can't see him getting a lot of change from a much more experienced Carragher.
