Zlatan Ibrahimovic | Rises a day early

Playing for Sweden in the EURO 2016, in the last game vs Belgium during the 2nd half Zlatan scored an insane goal with a "high karate kick" that was cancelled out wrongly because of a "foul" by Johan Elmanderjust before Zlatans magic strike. Does anyone have a video of that? I cant find it.

That play would have been one of his top 5 goals, if the goal had counted. I remember being so furious at the referee because he robbed the football world of an epic goal.

Should always be set as a role model for young players to train bit of martial arts alongside football and generally speaking take care of themselves to achieve as much flexibility as possible to take advantage of it on the pitch, unfortunately the trend is reverse here.

Not the type of goal you normally get from a 37 year old player.

Such a fecking anomoly he is. Who in the history of sports, but fecking Zlatan could score with a spin kick straight out of an old Jean Claude van Damme movie.

Came out with an epic comment about an opposition player who had squared up to him post match too.

Something like "I have more goals than he has appearances so he has to play by my rules". Paraphrasing here but was funny.

That goal... wont be surprised if he comes back to United in January for a bit. MLS starts in March so wonder if they would allow him to stay till the prem finishes.

Holy shit. One of the best goals i've ever seen.

I miss him. I hope he joins us on loan in January. We need one striker and for Zlatan himself, goals like these prove that he's still got it. Zlatan with some confidence could turn out very well.

That was classic Ibra and absolute class. Loved him at United! Wonder what number he’ll wear the he comes back in Jan!!? :D:wenger:

Such a classical Zlatan goal.

Has there ever been a scorer of so many great goals?

He's brilliant. Really fecking wish we got him when he was 10 years younger.

Kind of have that same feeling, I'm bummed his signing didn't work for Barcelona too.

But you know what they say, 'Tis better to have had Ibra and lost him than never to have Ibra at all.

I enjoyed the reaction of the defender who was marking him.

That is an absolutely insane goal. Sensational. What a legend he is!

Shame his career is coming to an end, he’s a unique footballer with an absurd highlight reel. Can’t think of any other player like him around today.

If he was under the SAF from a young age I think he could have been in one of the GOAT debates. He had everything when he was younger. Now that he has lost his physicality we can still see his class. Honestly I though the was finished at United physically but he was STILL so useful purely because of his technique and quality.

It takes a special/ridiculous amount of technique to be able to cover up your physical weaknesses as well. He should have replaced Tevez!!

Oh, I remember that first goal in the video. It was against AIK and the whole city of Malmö had Zlatan fever. The stadium was crowded and I got a really poor seat, low and almost in-line with the goal line. But the disappointment was changed to happiness as it proved to be more or less the best seat to see this amazing goal. And so many amazing goals have followed since that.

Despite his short stay here - one of my favourite United players.

Absolute king of a man.

With 500 goals..he has joined legends like euzebio distefano..zico..etc

Amazing goal.

Didn't even celebrate as they were like 3 down at that point. Class guy.
It’s a pity really, even his teammates were embarrassed to celebrate that goal...But oh boy, what a stunning stunning goal!Comfortably one of the best goals that I”ve ever seen....

Congratulations to the 500th goal for being scored by Zlatan.

500 goals. And a connection Jean-Claude Van Damme would have been proud of for the latest one.

How come La Galaxy are struggling so much, 1 win in 9 which shocked me. I thought Zlatan's arrival was supposed to lift their level up to when Beckham was there. Looks like their defence is a bit of a car crash, 5 conceded last night and 6 a few games ago. Ashley Cole really should retire.
