Your perfect team

Got a total football side yet?

I know i have same players in certain positions but feck it, in certain things two tactics are very similar so the same player fits for both roles.
The plan was to build a side completely around Cruyff.
Every player is comfortable almost in every area of the pitch. All hard workers suited for high press, technically and movement wise there is no weak link on the pitch. Everyone would have freedom to go where ever they bloody want.

Best and most attractive football ever played IMO and im pretty confident that will never change.

Nice side @Šjor Bepo

Makes a lot of sense, my only question would be about Scirea. I haven't seen enough of him to answer this but would he work with a back four with a reasonably high defensive line- wouldn't Baresi make more sense?

Milan 88-90 side.

Changing any one player ,sadly, ruins the chemistry. So i wouldnt swap anyone out.

The best club side of all time.

It would but then it would be cheating :)

These are, in my opinion, the best XI of each country. Only containing players from the past 20 years or so, because I can't judge players I didn't watch at all.

Last 15/20years at United
De Gea
Tony V(*)-Vidic-Rio-Evra
Nani(**)-Keane-Scholes-Ronaldo
Rooney-Rvp

*Before he lost the ability to cross
**on his day, at his beautiful, devasting best.

Today (PL only)
De Gea
Coleman-Bailly-Alderweild-Shaw
Hazard-Kante-Pogba-Sanchez
Aguero-Ibra.

Seriously tough team to pick, Mata, Kane, Alli, Coutinho and Miki all hard to leave out.

meh, they were pretty close actually. Baresi was better, but Scirea was one of the best ever at the position

I know, thats why i went with Scirea. Was thinking more about his understanding with Rijkaard rather then just his overall quality.

Awesome effort. Really fun to look through this.

My only question is two formations. England in a 433 and Spain in a 442 diamond to represent last 20 years seems really odd to me. I know you wanted to fit some players in but England in 433 and Spain in 442 seems like it should be reversed ya?

Brazil side take out gilberto silva for emerson, neymar for ronaldinho and juninho/ze roberto for kaka

Germany: howedes makes no sense. Sammer shouldn't have won the golden ball but he has to be in that team.

Italy Roberto Baggio over Del Piero and Dino Baggio over Gattuso.

Argentina Simeone over Mascherano, zabaleta shouldn't be in there but i'm drawing a blank on his replacement. Messi, Bati and Redondo are the first three picks for their side, not sure about veron and di maria

Netherlands...bergkamp really should be in there, not sure where

No Francescoli for uruguay?

France, swap abidal for lizarazu and i think makelele should get the nod over deschamps

England i leave to the english, though i should point out Shearer was still active 20 years ago...

Spain, i'd put Senna over Busquets and Raul over Torres but it's fine

Portugal...Rui Costa has to be in there, Nuno Gomes over Pauleta, and i think Danilo over Tiago and Guerreiro over Coentrao

United's 1994 side was perhaps as perfect a setup of the classic 4-4-2 you will see.

Schmeichel

Parker Bruce Pallister Irwin

Kanchelskis Keane Ince Giggs

Cantona Hughes

What a bloody team

The only slight flaw is maybe we could have had a better goalscorer than Hughes, but every single player in that team was world class.
Loved that team.Thats the 94 double (could have been treble winning) winning side.Saw a stat once that that XI one started 11 games but won them all.

If its 4 -4 - 2 you want,

Schmeichel

Neville Stam Johnson Irwin

Beckham Keane Scholes Giggs

Yorke
Cole.

I think they were quite successful!

Stepney

Forsythe Buchan Greenhoff Heuston

Coppell Daly McIlroy Hill

Macari Pearson.

These lads got my motor humming back in the mid 70s.

i don't want to involve the greats from the past, instead i'll form a team with the current active players in the world.

De Gea/Neuer

Bellerin Pique Ramos Sandro
Busquets
Iniesta Pogba
Messi/Bale Suarez Ronaldo/Neymar

Great effort. I'm surprised no Ronaldinho for Brazil and I don't remember Juninho been that influential for them.
Also don't rate Howedes that highly, Ziege would be a better pick there imo or play Lahm on left and play Babbel or even Kimmich who already looks a World class talent.
