It’s possible he comes back and reverts to his solid level like Axel Witsel coming back into Europe at Dortmund, but I would be surprised if he did.

Witsel’s national team performances maintained a good level whilst he was still in a China. Carrasco on the other hand hasn’t had a good performance for the Belgian team for as long as I can remember.
