I tend to use gamepass in a way where I concentrate on that actual game only until I finish. I’ve only bought DLC for Forza 4 though! I also keep an eye on the “leaving soon” category, watch games not made by a Microsoft linked studio as they will leave at some point - that basically gives you enough notice to figure it out.

Not all will realise this though - for sure there should be a disclaimer that your DLC purchase will not be available outside of gamepass.

Is it fair? To me it is as I understand how it works and ‘risks’ involved, so yes. You can argue is it fair a user has paid fully price for a game and it ends up quick enough on gamepass too.

Yeah I've never had a problem with games leaving, and always known it was part of the deal. It's something you do need to consider as part of the package. That said MS need to do a better job of highlighting games that are leaving and the dates. You also get money off that game as a GP member if you want to keep it, whilst it's in the program.

I don't buy DLC for GP games generally, mostly because I'm a skinflint, there's too many games I want to play in the program to justify spending money on DLC.

Really enjoying EA Play being part of Game Pass. Wish they’d work through some of the games and enhance them.

Playing Unravel for the first time, and immediately thought how great it would be next gen enhanced.

Well this could be incredible. And terrifying.

Proper next gen exclusive and day one Game Pass

Nothing compared to how much extra power PS5s need to keep reinstalling the same games

Because it's on GamePass and for nostalgia's sake I thought I would try PES out. I'm enjoying it, so far.

What kind of mode/s are you playing? I started with the default ML team and the players react so slow, it's really hard to defend. The game admittedly plays much better and is tighter with the top teams.
All sorts of modes. I played myclub for a while to get some achievements, but since then I've been mostly playing against com on the low levels to practice how to do moves.

Anybody played two point hospital? Loved theme hospital back in the day, hoping it lives up to how fun that game was.

As it's on Gamepass I'm thinking about trying it out because I don't need to pay for the pleasure.

On another note, I've beaten Halo and Halo 2 this week, just starting up on 3. These games are like nostalgia crack.
I've ordered the limited edition Duke controller in green and intend on running through all the Halos again as soon as it arrives! Very excited.

Is that basically a remastered version of the original xbox controller? I loved that thing.

I'm planning to take a break after I finish 3 and come back to Reach, ODST and 4 sometime later in the year.

Get out of this thread. Your sort don’t belong in here.

That's pretty impressive and will keep me subscribed for at least another couple of months. Looking forward to the medium and the Yazuka games on PC.

Yeh! Instead of the plastic dome in the middle, it's got a mini screen that plays the OG Xbox load up sequence (the green blob mutating). It's not wireless which sucks ass, but I just couldn't not get it.

Until the crushing realisation that those exclusives are still Halo, Forza and about 30 other shooters.

Not that you guys on here care about much else...
That’s about to change. Give us another Ori and Xbox wins easily

Now I'd pay an increase for more like that 100%.

Which reminds me, I need to go back to the second one. I started it way too soon after the first, now might be about time.
I'm playing it right now. We can be best friends and talk about it together <3

Tbh I'm looking at the cheaper non-ultimate option next time I sub. Have only played Halo online and that was fun for about 5 hours before I realised people are much better than me.

Frigging unemployable nerds with all their spare time.

I think the gold increase is really poor tbh. It looks like they are pushing people toward the "better value" option of GamePass Ultimate which is pretty gross. I see they are doing 5 Games with Gold next month, I wonder if that is a factor? Still requiring Gold to play F2P online games is lame too. They need to sort that out as well.

Last thing, if they want more money they need to make their service more reliable. The last several months my mates and I have had more than a few issues with party chats not working, usually on Fridays.

Way to kill the goodwill they were creating.
