Xavi has a better squad than Koeman but is not getting the same scrutiny: it is a bit xenophobic.
I noticed the same with how foreign players are treated.
Besides that, they are cheating batards.

Yes they are. They are struggling because their forwards couldn't score of you put the ball on the goal line with no defenders or goalkeepers, they'd still find a way to kick it outThey aren’t struggling because of the squad, that is clear. Can they use a few upgrades? Of course, every team needs to be refreshed continuously.
Xavi would be fired already if he wasn‘t Spanish, dropping out of CL group and a very poor start. He is poor again this season despite many signings. What? Care to elaborate?
Wait, what is this about Barca being knocked out of their CL group? Or are you talking about last season?Xavi would be fired already if he wasn‘t Spanish, dropping out of CL group and a very poor start. He is poor again this season despite many signings.
Barcelona doesn‘t drop out of CL groups.
The treatment of Frenkie de Jong. First he was asked to defer most of his salary, then they tried to make him leave without paying him. It got so bad that he was threatened by supporters.
This has nothing to do with Xavi and is purely on Laporta. The treatment of Frenkie de Jong. First he was asked to defer most of his salary, then they tried to make him leave without paying him. It got so bad that he was threatened by supporters.
It isn't a good sign that after all that "restructuring" and "financial levers", their best players are an academy player, another really young midfielder and one that was already there. I still think that restructuring was pointless and will cost them long term.
He won the league last season? He's obviously going to be afforded more credit in the bank. All the moreso when he's their second best ever playerXavi has a better squad than Koeman but is not getting the same scrutiny: it is a bit xenophobic.

A foreign coach would have been sacked. All those new signings and can‘t make it out of CL group stage. Xavi has not impressed. They dropped out of the CL groups but won La Liga for the first time in 4 years. That is going to give him some goodwill.
When you win the big titles, you get more time and leeway.
And don't forget Lewandowski's big contract at his age and with that production. Nobody is going to buy that contract of them and they're going to have to get him to renegotiate.
Maybe he'll get one of those unfortunate break-ins that some Barsa players have had to help him speed up his mind.

Right, no issue if everyone is treated equally. The Barca folks have behaved like cnuts though.Maybe having a local Catalan manager who speaks the native languages is preferred. Which I wouldn't call xenophobic.
I like Xavi. He is no Guardiola of course, but for our style he is the best available. We lost Busquets and Romeu is nowhere near his level. We lost Dembélé and Joao Félix is nowhere near his level. Pedri, Gavi and De Jong almost haven't been able to play together thia season. Losing Pedri and Gavi is massive, not only in Quality but also in work rate. With a good defensive midfielder and a winger that can actually dribble plus a bit of luck in terms of injuries i'm sure we would play much better. To resident Barca fans. Are you still keen on him? I haven't seen Barca much this season, is the league position reflective of what has happened on the pitch?
I'm not sure if it's a matter of being foreign or not, rather the fact that Xavi is a former star and has giant reputation in the club and in the city, he was always going to have more leeway, like Ole at United - the nationality mattered less than the legendary status.A foreign coach would have been sacked. All those new signings and can‘t make it out of CL group stage. Xavi has not impressed.
Time's up?
That would be incredible.Dead man walking. Here's hoping Barca somehow take Alonso off Liverpool.
No way Alonso manages Barca, especially with his history in Madrid.Dead man walking. Here's hoping Barca somehow take Alonso off Liverpool.
It's always bad for morale to lose their most important trophy of the seasonTheir results took something of a dive, ever since losing the league game against us, back in autumn.
I mean defending is a serious problem right now and normally a manager would intervene tactically seeing as the players appear unable to execute better and they don't have individuals that can fix the issue. Except it's Barcelona so making significant tactical deviations would put his job at the same risk - while winning - as it would losing but trying to play their footballNot sure he's the problem at this point in time.
Can't really build a squad if your wage bill is totally ruined and you also have to mostly resort to free transfers.
Klopp.
NagsKlopp.
I think the latter two will get new ones in but we’re sticking with oursUnited, Liverpool and now Barca need a new a new manager this Summer. Gonna be some merry go round.
I don’t know if he’s the problem but to me he has a serious attitude problem. He spends his time complaining about everything and doesn’t seem to ever question himself. Not sure he's the problem at this point in time.
