Every time I've seen this I've found her boring to be honest, and (although it's no great slam) she was thoroughly upstaged by Christina.
Anyone would be upstaged by Christina, who has one of the best voices ever seen in popular music. But Rebecca's voice is really different actually, it's like old school 60s Jazz, which I really like, though it's not for everyone.
I think she's quite unique, and very talented, but I think people think she's a bit boring because she's not loud and in your face and tends to do slower songs. Still very talented though, she's just quite modest. A bit like Leona used to be, and people used to call her boring, but she was still ridiculously talented.
Oh aye Christina could outsing anybody for definite, that's why I said it was no great slam, just saying it didn't do her any favours to be partnered with such an incredible voice when she relies entirely upon her own voice because she has no personality about her.
She does have a good voice, I don't think anyone would argue with that, but I don't think her performances ever really get your attention. For example I was sat reading the caf whilst the missus was watching this and when Christina came on I stopped and looked up to watch, she captures your attention and Rebecca doesn't do that. She had a great audition imo, but from then it's just been really poor. Her voice is weak, her rapping is terrible and cringeworthy. Not a clue why Simon is pushing her so much

I think she's talented, not my kind of musician but if it's true she does actually write music too then my respect for her will rise, but are you telling me that lots of idiotic early teens trying to be cool don't buy this kind of music?

I'm sure teens buy this sort of music, but not by Cher Lloyd. She will be showed up in the real music world if she ever makes it.
X Factor is just a glorified karaoke competition. None of the contestants are that good, apart from a few rare exceptions. Out of the lot, Matt is the best and will do ok, but even he is starting to become shakey.
If it's true she does write her own stuff it will surely suit her better than what she does now. Also despite his own vocal weakness Will.I.Am knows what he is doing, very rare he backs a flop, surely that's in her favour.

Agreed, he's never impressed me.. yet my family which is composed entirely of women seem to adore him, despite him getting worse week by week. Don't have anything particularly against him just think he needs to sing with more power and project his voice alot more.. at the moment he sounds like a strained cat.
I find it quite astonishing what some people say and write about the Cher. There seems to be a collective hatred and bitterness towards her. Fair enough if you don't like somebody's music/performance, but listening to some peoples joy at her failing last night and them hoping her career fail before it has begun was distasteful.

I don't really watch it, more stare through it into the abyss, hoping that it will stare back.
My family watch and enjoy it as if it was some medieval lynching, where they feel justified and legitimate in spitting venomous slander at people in hope that it might have some bearing on their own mediocre existence.
