Both GK are way off the line before the pen is kicked, doesn't the sane rule apply as in men's game?
They applied that rule in the group stages. Go figure what the refs are even doing in the knockout stages now; some rules have gone out of the window. Both GK are way off the line before the pen is kicked, doesn't the sane rule apply as in men's game?
I think the penalty bit is fair enough. It's that last two minutes of added time when it's one false step and 120 minutes of match disappears.Personally, I don’t think it puts pressure on the sub keeper. The keeper is never expected to save a penalty anyway. It’d be different if you subbed on a player to *take* a penalty.
Officiating in this WC has been shocking.I thought the keepers were meant to stay more or less on the line. They’re way out of the goal when saving these
Chocolate wrists.
VAR is checking that they're on their line in fairness so they must be alright. I think they've all had at least 1 foot on the line but obviously all already pushing off.Officiating in this WC has been shocking.
