WWC23 | England v Spain - Spain win the World Cup - and Rubiales gets sacked

Why do keep coaches making that horrible decision to sub the goalkeeper at 120 minutes? The new keeper is cold and not in the game, this never works out.

Personally, I don’t think it puts pressure on the sub keeper. The keeper is never expected to save a penalty anyway. It’d be different if you subbed on a player to *take* a penalty.
I think the penalty bit is fair enough. It's that last two minutes of added time when it's one false step and 120 minutes of match disappears.

Why on earth is a keeper taking the 5th pen? Is that how bad the other players are

Officiating in this WC has been shocking.
VAR is checking that they're on their line in fairness so they must be alright. I think they've all had at least 1 foot on the line but obviously all already pushing off.
