Looks a big cnut. Will be called a donkey multiple times on here, but I'm certain he will score goals for us.

Gives us another dimension to the team we haven't had since fellaini left :lol:

Come to think of it, they are quite similar except Wout can score goals.

Martial got hooked off at half time didn't he? Weghorst could be getting a lot of games this next few months.

Think he was injured but your point still stands for that very reason.

I still think there are many that can do a better job than Martial even when fit tbh. Has a purple patch now and again but usually injured or a passenger.
 
Clips I’ve seen of him he doesn’t, bizarrely for a bloke 6’6”, get many with his head. He looks decent though and something totally different to what we have.

Fast forward 20 minutes and she’s successfully stalked him on Instagram and gushed more about how cute he is with his kids.

I think so too. Martial had one or two nice touches on the ball today but in truth was poor and opened the door to Wout take his spot.

My gf isn't a big football fan but she knows the names of certain footballers which blatantly means she likes them.

All looking very positive, he must have been really excited at the prospect of starting for us as he watched todays game soaking up the atmosphere from the stands. Plus the fans were in brilliant form, singing there hearts out.

He might get a start soon if Martials out for the next game.

I welcome it. Let's see what he can do in our system and worst case can always take him off in game.
 
Prefer this guy a thousand times over mediocre Depay. He gives us another dimension and I’m sure will score for us.

tbf Martial was probably injured when he played. So he probably had to play within himself -- when he did so the past couple of matches so as not to aggravate the injury further.

I think the expectations/somewhat high hopes around him is that we are all confident that ETH will get the best out of him and I think his best will be pretty decent.

Looking forward to it.
 
Why do people label tall, big players as donkeys?
Donkeys are not even that big. Horsts are.
