Would you take Pickford over Onana?

I am back to: I would take any GK in any top league over Onana. It is a shame since he started well this season.

I just said this in a different thread but to repeat here -- we should take advantage of Southampton going down and sign Aaron Ramsdale. He is decent with the ball at his feet, can play quality long balls and distribution, and is a very good shot stopper. He might not be great at dealing with crosses etc, which would be a concern I admit, but he is no worse than Onana.

We did the Taibi thing but ended up convincing ourselves to keep him after the three games.

And we wonder why standards have slipped.

Considering our current financial disaster, we cannot afford a proven goalkeeper, and I am not even sure Pickford is good, so first thing we need to do is
1. Drop Onana
2. Give Bayindir a run of games and see if he can step up. He played well in cup games, under Amorim, and deserves a chance

Of course, it would help if Bayindir were not injured... Would love the club to tell us what is even up with Bayindir, how did he get injured (in trainig?) and when is he coming back

To answer the question, Onana is so bad I'd have to say yes, not that Pickford would be my first choice to replace Onana though.
