At least Abramovic still sent him packing the next season. They had 1 defeat in their first 12 matches that season, and a month before Di Matteo was sacked Chelsea were top of the league. Can you imagine if that was us? A club with ambition eh?I will be proven wrong and eat so much crow if Ole takes us back to the United glory days. I will have to rethink everything I learned about football if that happens . The only explanation I can see from why Ole is still our manager is that he is very lucky. In that, I have never seen a manager as lucky as him. I might have to watch Di Mateo champion league run again to see if something similar might happen with Ole
