Yes a free run, as in no other teams competing for his signature.
£100m with no one else willing to pay it is why it’s a free run.

£120m, people really need to chill down.£100m with no one else willing to pay it is why it’s a free run.

If I put £50m for Smailing, then it is a free run for Roma?Yes a free run, as in no other teams competing for his signature.
Yes this is Manchester United and we should always be in the top 4 aim. We are not a small club by any means.
I really don't understand why Woodward gave him the permanent job before the end of the season anyway. The fact Ole has not been supported this window is a mystery if he has the backing of the Board. Anyone should know we need more better players as others have strengthened their teams a lot better.
And apparently Ole is doing better job (comparing to Klopp's first 2 seasons).People in here comparing Klopp to Ole, it really is unbelievable.
I've literally defended nothing, I've simply pointed out that your posts are atrocious. Not only are they poorly formatted and in grave need of some punctuation, but they're also full of false assumptions and opinions presented as fact. Cut that shit out if you want to actually have a grown-up discussion.Stop defending the indefensible the quality of my posts are better than the quality of our uselessness overrated over privileged manager. No one rates him in the football world realistically everyone thinks he’s out f his depth apart from you and the rest of your crew who all wear ole shirts to bed probably. GIVE IT UP he is useless
It'll be interesting when the finances are announced next week. That might explain things. It could have come down to needing to sell to get cash in for purchases. Although why they've refused to sell in that scenario is anyone's guess.
It would be a good thing to show that. Unless you are making it up. I haven't seen anyone saying that. And apparently Ole is doing better job (comparing to Klopp's first 2 seasons).
Scroll better (talking about same time period of course. Not Klopp in general)It would be a good thing to show that. Unless you are making it up. I haven't seen anyone saying that.
I agree that we can see what Ole wants. He wants a completely new squad and he wants top players in every position that he goes for. How do you marry the two? It's quite obvious that you won't get twelve players in four transfer windows if your average target costs around £50m. He's chosen to go for first XI players but it's limited the amount of players he's been able to bring in. Now that's a choice he made, so IMO it's his own choices that led to him still having to put Lingard and Fosu-Mensah on the bench after a year and a half in charge. And I can see what Solskjaer want and where we are heading towards. In the same way I could see where Klopp where heading towards. I am not saying Solskjaer will be Klopp but he don't need to be him. He can be better. He can be worse. I see what we want to do and I see progress.
Squad depth is not just about Solskjaer. First you need to fix your starting XI. Then you need to work on squad. We are not that good in terms of quality in the squad but as you can see it is hard to get out some players. You can't buy and buy but not sell. It doesn't work that way. Giving big contratcs to players with injury problems or lack of quality means less buyers. We can't have a squad that is 35 players. One other aspect is changing managers all the time meaning buying those who current manager wants. And when you change manager you need to please the other manager by buying more for the way he wants to play.
Fitness issue is about what kind of game you want to play. When Solskjaer took over we were playing different fotball with less running. If you want to run more you need to work on that. I don't think there is any problem looking at our team now (and under Mourinho/VanGaal) and see that we are better and fitter in that department. That is not saying we are better as a team, but talking just about fitness, we are lot better.
The Cavani deal has switched my vote. Zero sympathy for Ole now. If Ed is meddling in transfer as we all suspect that Ole should have had the balls to call him out or walk away.
No, he don’t want new squad. Far from it. He want right players. Sometimes it will go well. Sometimes he will miss. That is why club haven’t been splashing money on players like Chelsea this window. Before he came people screamed after players for XI and when he does something about it, then it is wrong.I agree that we can see what Ole wants. He wants a completely new squad and he wants top players in every position that he goes for. How do you marry the two? It's quite obvious that you won't get twelve players in four transfer windows if your average target costs around £50m. You don't think fitness is an issue? We definitely had fitness issues at the end of Ole's first season, which is fine. Then he had a pre-season (which everyone said would be the solution to the fitness issue, me included). We then started poorly, had a huge resurgence after the turn of the year but still limped over the line last season despite an extended mid-season break and everyone blamed fatigue for our FA cup/EL semi exits and our worse performances at the end of last season. And here we are, now, still blaming external factors for the lack of fitness. Now it's lack of pre-season. Next season it'll be long-haul flights during pre-season, the season after that it'll be no travel during pre-season which means that players won't be able to cope with travelling to away games, or something.
What is obvious is that there is a mismatch in the football Ole wants them to play and the fitness regime, because the players that he trusts clearly can't cope with it because fitness issues, injuries and exacerbations of injuries (due to over-playing first XI players due to not trusting the squad) keep popping up.
We're obviously not going to agree on this since you think our fitness levels are fine compared to what they were, but if we reach any semi finals this season and crash out due to being overworked then people will just blame fatigue as if Ole didn't have the chance to buy 3-4 cheaper players this window instead of chasing Sancho all summer.
Him and the coaches can't even organise the team. The team when on the back foot look so disorganised and all over the place. Going forward he just lets the attackers do their thing and hope for them to pull off a bit of magic. The team looks a mess.
Everyone will blame the bullshit red card but make no mistake, we were a shambles before it too. We don't look coached, the players don't look like they give a shit. I don't think we can sack a manager 3 games into the season but if we do persist we are in for a really tough ride.
Abominable coaching. Fitness isn’t an excuse.
No he isn't. He literally said that we were terrible and should've already been 3-0 down before the red card.Gary Neville already is.
We looked shocking before the sending off that much is true. So definitely shouldn’t be used as an excuse. The sending off will be the excuse even though we were getting dicked prior to that. There's always an excuse.
I may end up changing my vote back to sack him. We look a shambles at the moment.
