Fair enough, you keep believing that just bringing Poch in will make everything great again, or maybe a real top manager like Mourinho.

You must think of one of the little naive Ole in fans who think with passion.

If you want to have a serious conversations of where the club can be fixed that’s fine. But don’t talk to me with isolated sound bite views and expect me to agree.

If you can hand on heart tell me Klopps success is 50% even 40% due to the board Liverpool have in place your argument holds weight. We just both know it’s not true.

I really don't want to see him sacked because I'll never side with Woodward over a club legend and it's not his fault we're such a mess, but it's blindingly obvious he's not a great manager. I like his recruitment strategy but on the pitch we look totally clueless, and he's been here nearly a year now. This is his team.

I'm not a naive little anything. Just like this time last year when i said we'd do no better than Mourinho (one of the best managers of all time) with these same players. I got told i was talking nonsense by experts (in their own mind) on here then as well.

Started the week at 60% keep. Now it’s down to 55%. If we lose today it’ll probably flip. Can’t believe a month into the season we’re seriously entertaining sacking a manager.
Well considering we arnt playing today we are unlikely to lose today. How about opening your eyes and looking at his record since last season. It is something like 6 wins out of 22 games. Our worst start to a premier league season, havent won away from home in 7 months.

I’m not even sure you can credit his recruitment. Maguire and Wan-Bissaka are no brainers really and James was one of the best young talents in the Championship. It’s not like he’s fished out Mahrez and Kante like Leicester did a few years ago.

Well wasn’t you wrong? As we did do better and the players were clearly better than they was showing. We went 10 games unbeaten.

I'm changing to sack on the basis that Poch will surely quit Spurs after today. We should put him in as DoF till end of season so he can start building, then manager after that. Ole can be caretaker as this season is already a write-off.

I said that couple of times. Jose lost control when Faria left and Carrick became as.manager.
As.manager must be tough and Carrick is not that. Against AZ in late minutes of the game there is a situation where he casualy talks with Gomes with hands in his pockets. Wtf, man? It is 0-0, euro game and you are casualy chatting with young player instead yelling, giving advices or something like that.

What, in Gomes's pockets? Sounds dodgy, glad the press didn't pick up on it

What of Spurs recent performances makes you think AVK mk 2 should get the job?

Yeah Sanchez or Lukaku was no brainers as well.

This is a bit harsh IMO.

Interesting to use that run of games when it suits. I keep getting told all that matters is the results since he was made permanent on here. It did look like i was wrong for a while, we were getting better results than we deserved though.

Spurs players stopped playing for him. They're exhausted and the club failed to refresh the squad. It happens. It happened to Klopp at Dortmund but I'd still give my left Traveller to have had him come to United.

The point is that Poch is one of very few managers who knows how to implement a high intensity press. And if you can't do that, you can forget winning the Premier League.

Weird. Poch has had a terrible, terrible run (certainly worse than Ole) with many players who would walk into our team, after several years of building on an already decent squad (during which period they won squat, by the way - in fact, has Poch ever won anything with any team in any league?). Thinking he would suddenly do well at this club seems insane.

Well I’m just answering your question. Clearly we could have done better with the players we had... but we hired the wrong guy to take it forward.

For those who think the problem is the players. I am not exonerating them from the blame but would say it's 90% about Ole not being good enough or the right man to take us forward or at least tur things around.

If we somehow manage to lose today it should flip, big style, and i'll be first calling for Ole to be sacked.

Now if we lose tomorrow....

 Yesterday my post is going to look silly. I forget not everyone is from the future.

Yeah shocks never happen in the cups, ever. So it's 10% about these players that we pay £100k+ a week but need a manager to tell them what to do to be able to beat a league one team?

Stupid argument, anyone coming in won’t get backed enough to improve the squad because of our leech ownership

A more relevant poll is now if we should sack Ole if Poch became available by /before the end of the season. The most commonly stated reservation was the lack of replacement candidates. What's the picture if one is available?

There's absolutely no way we lose today.

 What shocks? Majority of us expected that, it's no shock at all. Only completely deluded ones were maybe shocked what they have watched but then after we heroically won that match, immediately started singing "Ole's at the wheel" again.

Some Twitter post

Norwich won against City
Norwich lose against Aston Villa
Villa better then City?

How funny that people always seem to find something to have a go at Ole but when you can apply same tactics on other managers then there is tons of explainations and protection of managers.

You joke, but in reality the Ole in cult are basically saying - sack the players, sack the board, and keep Ole.

sacking Ole does not solve anything.
He may not be the ideal manager.
he simply has no support whatsoever from the board
He did not want to start the season without a midfield.
That is Woodward's complete incompetence.

You’ve had these private conversations with Ole to confirm this utter nonsense??

How many times do we have to point out that Ole stated he was happy with the squad going into the season?!

And as for the Lukaku debacle and people claiming it was right to get rid. Why on earth was he unhappy in the first place?! Perhaps being benched and it being made clear that he was second choice behind Rashford?! So a 10 goals a season striker was given preference over a 20+ goals a season striker?! I’d have been fuming and have felt pretty hard done by too.

Utterly terrible decision making by a total novice of a manager.

But let’s blame Woodward instead since it doesn’t suit the “it’s everyone’s but Ole’s fault” agenda does it.

He's just had 160m pumped into the team...

He's still employed despite showing relegation form for months...

He's paid more than Klopp and Pochettino...

He's been / being backed - and should consider himself very fecking lucky to even be in the job to begin with!

Woodward being incompetent and Ole needing the sack are not mutually exclusive - they both deserve to go ASAP.

the midfield was weakened.

What's the only common entity between the last 3 managers ?

Maybe people had enough of this "sack the manager" approach.

They're not a cult, they're people with opinions as valid as yours. Even between the chaos and the current relegation form, they can see what Ole is trying to do and have the patience to stay positive.

Why the meltdown from you all then if it was expected?

What is he trying to do? As a manager I mean. What is he trying to make our team look like? What is he trying to implement as a system?

Obviously Woodward is shite and those above him are shite. But that doesn't mean Ole is right.

The plastics want instant success.
Longtime supporters have seen it all.
Fergie achieved what he did in spite of the board.

I'm not sure Ole is our long term solution.
But not to support the manger and allowing him to start the season with the squad he did was unforgivable.

Most of us could see what would happen with a few injuries. And here we are.

BY HIM!

Nobody can wins with fans like you.

Say that you're not satisfied with the squad similar to Jose; and you should be sacked because you're throwing your players under the bus.
Stay positive and say that you're happy with the squad ? and you're a "yes" man and should be sacked.

And quite frankly, if you believe that he's happy with his squad because he's publicly saying that, you're as naive as they come.

Obviously, has to go. Currently, he makes the past look better. Mourinho, and some players sold (Fellani) are all missed to a certain extent....

Ole of course must be allowed to complete the season.
I have no idea if we are going to be able to get anyone in January.

But if the board is serious about running a football club rather these sponsorship deals, we need to add 2 possibly 3 midfielders if as expected Pogba leaves.
A winger and two strikers.

That is a minimum for having a decent enough squad to go into the season.

I'm not holding my breath though.

It's the same as Klopp at Dortmund. You lose the players. Poch is still the third best manager in the Premiership.
