World Cup Betting Thread

So after a few very rough days, I was tempted not to bet today. I’d wiped out my profit from the Sunday completely which was a brilliant day.

Just logged in to SkyBet to see this. On the 90th min B365 said it was 1 - 2 in terms of shots on target per team. So don’t ask me how this won, surely in injury time. I feel dirty :lol: looking forward to a bet today now ffs haha

Korea over 15 @ 2.75
Sweden over 35 @ 2.20

Shots on goal:
Son over 0.5 @ 1.61
Berg over 0.5 @ 1.53

Yeah, I guess over 3 games you can afford one, or even two slips and most groups have at least one, often two, very poor sides.
 
Nothing semi sure for today. Only agermany is certain and they're priced at 1.16 which is too low. Probably skipping today too unless something comes up.

They give points for this:

Team Performances
90 minutes play only. Points awarded/deducted for each individual team as follows:

Win the match = 25 pts

Draw the match = 10 pts

Each goal scored = 15 pts

Each corner gained and taken = 3 pts

Keep a clean sheet = 10 pts

Score before 20th minute = 10 pts extra (maximum 10 points per team)

Each yellow or red card received = 5 pts and 15 pts deducted respectively (maximum 20 points per player)

In the event of the match not being completed then all bets are void.

Guys, there are some bets which are "X player will complete more than 75 passes in the game".

Where can we follow how many passes they've done?

What is this Team Performance market?


SkyBet have done a boost for tonight's games. Neymar and Shaqiri Anytime, Brazil and Swiss win - 11/1. £10 Max Stake.
 
chucked a free bet fiver on every team to score at least twice in the World Cup last month at 250/1. Just need 2 from Costa Rica tonight and one from Panama and Poland now. Still unlikely but you never know. Needed 2 from Morocco against Spain and that happened!

Some events in the game are worth some points, at the end, they are tallied, and see if you bet over or under.

Win is 25 points, draw 10, each goal 15, while each corner 3, clean sheet 10 more, and goal before 20th minute also 10 points. Yellows and reds deduct the points, by 5 and 15.
 
Had a small bet on South Korea to win @17.00 :D

Might be a long shot, but I think Switzerland would like to be no 2 in the group and can kill the game for a 0-0, so stuck a small amount on 0-0 @ odds 8.

As no 2 they'll meet Sweden in Round of 16 and then possibly England in the quarter-finals.

I already lost two possible avenues for 10 points (clean sheet, before 20th minute). I do have 12 points at the moment due to corners, but have to deduct 5 points due to one yellow card. Serbia just has to score for me to have a winning bet. And then not lose.

Lol. Stuck £100 on Costa Rica to miss their penalty at 3/1 to cover this bet a bit. Got the goal and paid out on the miss:lol:

Yeah. I can get 2/1 for no Poland goal and 7/4 for no Panama goal, so will cover a bit on no Poland goal then a bit more on the Panama one if it's still alive. Been an entertaining run for the money!

Team top scorer: Kane, Costa, Salah and Lewandowski.

Salah already in, kane and costa leading heavily....

Now should I cash out for $216 ($166 profit) or do I trust Lewandowski not to choke (even though he's been choking all tournament)?

What do guys?

I would cash out. Not convinced he’s going to score tomorrow. What if he scores just one and is tied with Krychowiak and what do you stand to win if you carry on with this bet?

Edit: I just saw above. In this case it might be tempting. He just needs one goal tomorrow to be tied with Krychowiak.

They only scored 1 goal and that was by Gregory Krychowiak.

The thing is.. If Lewandowski scores tomorrow.. what happens if its a tie?

Tough one. Neither have been overly convincing, but both look like they have a big performance to come
