3rd party bids, with ferguson and gill doing the job. The only "thing" he bought is a tree and he could have bought it cheaper.

Did anyone reliable actually confirm this. It seemed like people just used that story based of seeing this:

It fits the desired narrative so it must be true.

Has anyone else realised that Woody goes AWOL during the transfer window.

What do you mean, he isn't popping in for coffee at yours all of a sudden? The man wasn't exactly regularly popping up on Loose Women even before the transfer window.

It wasn't Ferguson and Gill, it was Mata's father and his English solicitor who negotiated the transfer.

I'm starting to think Woodie is some kind of elaborate practical joke, or an avante-garde artistic project. Maybe a scientific experiment of some sort.

The point of him being to see how long you can string people along that you are doing a certain job without ever actually doing it.

Presumably whoever is behind it is the same person who brought us Joe Kinnear @ NUFC.

He also fired Moyes and hired LVG.

Also why is he getting no credit for Mata and all the blame for Fellaini? Even IF it is Gill and SAF "doing the job", who did you think sent them?

Its amazing how so many people seem to accept as fact that SAF and Gill sorted out the Mata deal. Is there any actual evidence for that? In the account of the deal I read Woodward was very much the driving force behind it.

It's only since seeing this thread that I've noticed the insane volatility in the price of cabbages. Two days ago I went to the grocer to get a cabbage and it only cost 60p. Went back to the same grocer this morning and it was up to £4.80.

Might start buying cabbage futures to hedge out my vegetable risk.

Or you could plant cabbages in the hedge.

What's all this bollocks about cabbage price volatility? Never heard of it before in my life

Owen, RvP, Mata, and yet Fabregas at United would still be odd.

Still, i reckon he could do it. FWIW i think, from the reports concerned, that he was brilliant in the Mata deal.

The moral of that story is basically if you want cabbages dont be afraid to shop around. If you cant find what you are looking for, try again the next day - but be prepared to queue. I was waiting for cabbage for 3 hours recently and would you believe it? My phone ran out of juice. As I neared the front of the queue I had to ask myself, why am I doing this? When I could go to tesco and pick up some broccoli for next to nothing in a couple of minutes - and I prefer broccoli. Its just one of those things, you see a queue and you feel if you dont join it youre missing out on something.

I now understand why certain poster's became so aggravated with criticism of Moyes, the Woodward criticism is bizarre and tiresome. I'm rooting for Eddy, I really am.

Can we PLEASE contain all comments that have nothing to do with cabbage within the plethora of non-cabbage threads we have on redcafe.net

Cesc Cabbageregas, the odds on Edward W. getting him aren't promising. Would it be considered a fail if he doesn't sign him?

Not particularly a fan of Woodward thus far but criticising him at this stage is a bit stupid really. We really don't have a clue if it's him screwing things up or if LVG just wants different players. It'll become clear as the summer progresses so we should probably be patient for now.

I will be seriously pissed off if a similar situation to last summer repeats itself. I damn hope Woodward has at least a couple of top signings under his sleeve by now or else the distance between us and top 4 will just keep growing.

Please stay on topic. This is about cabbage prices in todays volatile cabbage market.

I've read this 6 times and am yet to find even a TRACE of cabbage-related content

The problem is, going for the fashionable choices like kale when it's much better to pick a nice summer cabbage. Square pegs round holes.

I'm fortunate enough to not like cabbage so don't have to face the traumas of such high fluctuations.

I never heard of cabbage prices changing drastically before. Might as well buy a couple in the next few days to see it myself.

You could just follow the prices of cabbages online.

Joined this topic late, please can I ask who does cabbage play for and can he play CM, is he any good at covering lots of ground and not frail so he gets blown over in a windy night at Stoke.

Cabbage doesn't play for anyone, it's a fecking vegetable do keep up.

I thought the thread title as a joke, but as it turns out, there is something in it with the fluctuation of cabbage prices.
