Fred has his uses as a energetic presser. But he also gets beaten 42% of the time he attempts a tackle (much higher than similar players of his type in other teams). And don't even get me started on his sloppy passing. Without McTominay/Matic to mop up behind, he's accident waiting to happen. Pogba definitely isn't the right man for the job of holding position to spot dangers before they happen.

But, on the positive side, Neves and Moutinho are the least mobile midfield in the PL. So hopefully the selection won't come back to bite us in the arse.

Good to see Varane, he'll be v v important to us. Sancho is interesting for me, because I am still not sure how good he is (just haven't seen him enough..) but I do like the fact we have a right-footed player playing on the right...

We have some very good players. Really should do some damage in this league. I do feel for V D Beek, and Lindgard... these aren't 'squad' players, and we should let them go if they are discontented. I can't see them starting many big games, which is a shame for them.

Agreed. He should obviously be sold and replaced as Ole simply doesn't fancy him. But given that Pogba has to move back to CM when Ronaldo, Cavani, Rashford etc. are back he might as well get used to playing there. And Donny can't play in a mid 2 with Pogba instead of Fred

The amount of adverts they’ve managed to fit into half an hour is painful. Being a pundit is actually the easiest job in the world.

You don’t have to do any analysis about how the teams play, how they will match up or what to look out for tactically. You just talk in the most basic terms about individual players, literally the same shit every week. Pogba can’t defend, Greenwood is the best finisher at the club etc.
