Antony, Sancho, Rashford, Martial, Elanga and someone else.

What we looking at?

LW - Sancho
CF - Martial
RW - Antony

Elanga doesn’t need to be mentioned.

Sancho - Martial - Antony

Rashford as backup.
Give minutes to Garnacho.

We are looking at rotating players based on fixtures form and tactics. There won't and shouldn't be a guaranteed starting spot for any of them

I think the fact that Martial has only played 45 mins in 4 games just shows how silly it is making 'best 11's and front 3's. We rarely ever have everyone available anyway.

All our forwards will get plenty of game time this season.

Is this under the assumption Ronaldo leaves or do you just not acknowledge him?

Ronaldo through the middle with Antony and Sancho either side would probably be the most likely regular front 3 if once this transfer window ends, Ronaldo is still at United. He’ll have no choice but to knuckle down and United still have a 25 goal striker

Antony providing he hits the ground running is probably the only guaranteed starter, Rashford/Martial/Ronaldo will all rotate in the 9 (Rashford probably less so once Martial is back) and Rashford and Sancho will both rotate on the left

Elanga's minutes are going to be greatly reduced now and as for Amad and Pellistri they both need loans before the window closes. Probably won't see much of Garnacho either but he's obviously a bit younger than the others

We'll see Sancho, Rashford, Antony most often because Martial can't stay fit. But we'll be frustrated with Rashford as 9.

Ronaldo is finished but we're stuck with him in the squad.

1st choice: Sancho - Martial - Antony
2nd choice: Rashford - Ronaldo - Elanga

I hate to say this but although Sancho, Martial, Antony is the only one that makes sense, I have a horrible feeling that we're going to try to shoehorn Rashford into any lineup as EtH seems to not notice that he's completely useless.

Depressingly I suspect we'll see Sancho, Rashford, Antony mostly and even Elanga, Rashford, Antony more than the obvious choice.

Ah love the ETH criticisms 4 games in because he plays a player you don't like:lol:

Rashford sancho Antony?

Wondering if eth will use sancho as a false 9 with Antony and rashford as inside forwards?

It clearly has to be Sancho, Martial, Antony, with Ronaldo swapping with Martial dependent on fitness....but it won't be. It'll be Sancho or Martial dropped for the diabolical Rashford who will continue to be first choice no matter how bad he plays, as he has been for the past 2 years.

More interesting question is if we will continue with front 4, or switch to 3. We can have proper balance now between the wings, so not sure if we still should be playing with no10.

Sancho Ronaldo Antony

All we need Ronaldo to do is be in the right place. I'd Martial was not the new Hargreaves, I would have him, Rashford is not a striker, he is back up for the left.

I can't see us having a consistent one.

Martial is picking up injuries taking a shower at the moment. If Ronaldo stays he has to be managed. Rashfords form has to be managed. Even Sancho has it all to prove this year.

We also have, what..50 odd games of football or whatever it is?

Not a single one of our front 3 has done enough to be assured a place in the starting lineup.

Rashford could easily overtake Sancho if he finds his previous form and Sancho keeps playing to the current level. I think Ronaldo is pretty much done as a player but he is Cristiano Ronaldo and more surprising things have happened than him dramatically improving his performances.

If we were playing a game tomorrow and everyone was fit I'd go for Sancho, Martial and Antony but the form on left wing is so average that I'd honestly consider Garnacho and not be very worried at all.

Antony—as yet unsigned CF—Sancho

Martial cannot be relied upon, and Ronaldo will be gone soon. We’d better be bringing someone in or else it’ll be Rashford, Garnacho or McNeill.

Really hoping we see a good version of Martial but he’s been poor for the past couple of seasons so people expecting him to be a nailed-on starter i think is wrong.

Rashford/Sancho/Antony first choice for me.

Ronaldo can stay on the bench until he earns his place back in the starting XI.

If Martial can stay fit, Sancho, Martial and Antony will be the natural choice. If Martial doesn't stay fit, Rashford will be getting a lot of opportunities through the middle.

Rashford/Sancho/Antony first choice for me.

I think most expectancies by now is more like experimental guesswork.

We now have six likely players for three places:

Rashford (LW/S)
Sancho (LW/RW)
Elanga (LW/RW)
Antony (RW)
Ronaldo (S)
Martial (S/LW)

There are no dead certs here. 4 games in, no one is head and shoulders above anyone. Opponents, injuries and progression will decide. I think we’ll see interchanging.

My first choice will be

Rashford - Martial - Sancho

You're being incredibly naive. Antony is absolutely a dead cert and will be a nailed on starter. You don't buy a managers former player for £80m just to make him sit on the bench

The amount of people calling for Martial to have a starting spot shocks me. Apparently he now is the answer after all
