Good final, fantastic stuff from Northug. It made me a bit sad though to think of what the duathlon could have been.
Giant Slalom could very well be two medals for us tomorrow. Aksel and Jansrud are both among the favourites.
It's worth mentioning that Ola Vigan Hattestad himself went to the coach yesterday and told him that Pølsa would be a better choice for this race.
He said that it was his toughest decision ever and that he actually cried after making the decision. Imagine, he has been easily the best sprinter for the last two or three seasons. Two times world cup winner, two times world champion in the last two years.... Just imagine how much he has looked forward to the Olympics. It's a goal all Norwegian winter athletes work and plan for four years in advance. And he then gives it away to Pølsa because he feels he might do a better job.
Extremely well in from Hattestad. I hope that never gets forgotten.
