Wimbledon 2016

I'm not entirely sure who this rain is benefiting in the Williams - McHale game, Williams just broke back but still looked out of sorts, maybe she was just gaining her momentum, however, McHale was playing briliantly. If Serena hadn't just broke back it would have advantaged her. Decent womens game, however, it just shows, Serena can play awful and still be on par with another player playing her best.

In another game rained off, Venus Williams was on match point, the other lass serving. Brutal, possibly back out for one point

Talk of them playing on Sunday.

Yeah, heard that too. Class how these tournaments always catch the bad weather and scattered showers, the weeks leading up to this it was blazing hot without rain.

Serena can look dog ugly sometimes but she has a cracking smile.

Every time I see the William's sisters Mum, I can't help thinking she looks like the classic "bag lady" you often see in US TV shows shuffling down the streets of LA or New York pushing a shopping cart with all their possessions in it. Nothing against her, and I'm sure she lives in luxury most people can only dream of and has accounts at all the big stores in LA and flunkies running after her, it's just that wild hair and her sleepy looking eyes.

Serena through after a good match, McHale bottled it in the end, then Serena smashed down 3 aces to finish her off. Nice from Serena with the fans and getting a racket back so she could sign it for one.

Venus through too.

Tough first set for Djoko. Had to save 4 break points at 5-5. Into the tiebreak now.

First set to Querrey. Thought he bottled it, but fully deserved.

Querrey lost only 4 points on his serve in that first set against Novak. Great display so far.

Novak does this every year against a big server, he'll be fine.

5-1 Querrey in the second set. Holy shit. Federer smashing Dan Evans at the minute.

I'm going to be bloody ridonculously delighted if Fed wins and Djokovic loses. Still not banking on it. Djokovic can easily win three straight sets against Querry.

And, rain comes at a nice time for him as well :(

Expect Djokovic to come out back on his game when the rain stops.

Same happened with Anderson last year.

Like Djokovic. But hope Querry does the business. Would like to see Federer or Murray win another slam.

Great day of tennis all round really. Only had one eye on the Federer match but he looked a bit sharper from what I saw. If the Wimbledon organisers were smart they'd keep sticking Djokovic on Court 1, he's been taken to five sets there the last three years running now.

Bookies seen it all before. A tenner on Novak only gets you 6 quid profit.

Querrey broken in his first service game of the day, to the surprise of no one.

Querry needs the momentum of him playing well and Djokovic not much more than Djokovic needs the same with roles reversed.

Querry has been rubbish today. Probably more like a standard meeting between the two of them.

Djokovic is there for the taking but Querrey can only win a point when he gets a first serve in, considering he can't even take it to a tiebreaker in the fifth it's pretty much game over now.
