Wimbledon 2011

I don't understand how anyone can be a fan of a tennis player. Preferring certain players' styles over others sure, but to actually support someone like you would a football team is a bit weird.

Not saying I don't get behind Murray because he's a Brit but I don't obsess over it.

I do like Nadal though, he's seems like a nice guy.

Even if you were Spanish, or related to Rafael Nadal, it's abit OTT.

You fancy him don't you?

LEAVE RAFA ALONE!!!!!

Well I've watched Tennis longer than I've followed football and I've followed Agassi and Nadal every bit as much as I follow United.

Even amol and vuc and co are pretty passionate about their players :)

Nadal breaks again. Get in.

Its not that Rafa is playing better its just that Murray has suddenly become shit.

Double break :D

5-2 and Nadal to serve for the set. Hopefully he can wrap this up and continue the momentum into the next set.

Looks like Murray might have tweaked the injury from the other day again going by a replay there but the first of the breaks was self inflicted and 2nd went the same route. could be a long match here if Murray can get back to how he was at the start in the 3rd set onwards, as he knows he can break Nadal.

The first break during a set was always going to be critical, it is no good being the better player and the score is 7-5, 2-2. When Nadal decides to turn up Murray better ready himself.

It was as if the first set never happened now. Choked.

Was epic fail from Murray that, carry that to another 2 or 3 games and hes as good as done.

Why is it weird? It's a sport, it's natural to support one side of a competition.

It makes more sense to support someone because you like them or their playing style than it does to support them just because they're the same nationality as you.

Why of fecking why do the camera men insist on showing more of the audience than they do the tennis? I don't care about the bland looking women wearing sun glasses in the VIP box, I don't know who most of them are and I want to know.

And Pippa Middleton. Please leave the country.

Murray went off his game and handed that set to Nadal. Next set is crucial, whoever wins it will win the match.

I can't believe how easy a one easy sitter can change ones mentality. Insane really.

10 year anniversary of Henmans epic choke job too -_-

Or Murray/Nadal could just win it in the next two.

That's obvious but no idea what's going to happen though for definite, as either Murray cant recover his form and Nadal goes onto win or Murray comes out of the slump later on and takes it the distance. Right now Murray in one of his mini-slumps which earlier on in the rounds he got away with but cant afford to keep it going against Nadal, as he wont get away with it.
