Wimbledon 2011

This is why i hated the draw. You can't possibly get a harder player in the 4th Rd than Del Po. Crucial tie break this :nervous:

So will they close the roof and play under lights to a finish or will they go off when light fades?

fecking Nadal and his tie breaks

JMDP is a bloody brilliant player. He already proved that he's a top 3 player with his USO win and by the time 2012 comes (injuries permitting) I think he'll be in the Top 4 again. He's going to win more Slams than Murray.

Meanwhile Tsonga continues to look Stronga by the match...

I don't know why people and the commentators keep on mentioning that Del Potro is getting tired. This is how he looked in the US open and kept on winning forehand smashers all game. Don't be fooled people.

Well he does seem to be dragging his feet across the court in between points.

Fed's amazing run continues. He once again makes it to the quarters.

I think it could be a strategy really. Against Federer at the US open I thought he was done at one point.
Anyway, serve and volley from here will work nicely

I was ready to turn off that match in disappointment and then he came back from the dead :D

If this goes to a 5th I can see Del Po winning it as breaking him is pretty much impossible.

Play continues with the roof closed and the lights turned on, at least according to this:

I think they'll be hoping it doesn't come to that, as when do you take them off to get the court ready, I think you should do it if it goes to the 5th set, so as soon as 4th is done

Not certain Del Potro would win it

That 3rd set was some pretty good tennis by both, brutal tennis

I'd never bet against Nadal in a fifth set.

I wouldn't either but it's just hard to see how he can break Del Po. Del Po is going to be the one of the most dangerous players in New York. I'd love to see him vs Djoko on the hard courts.

PS: He did break

Now just hold on damit!

You do know that Nadal just broke Del Potro's serve right?

Del Po calling for a trainer now? Enigma must be going mad at the "playacting" by these two today.

Improving his serve over the last 12 months is the best thing that's happened to Nadal. He would never get the cheap points he gets now.

There's a difference between looking languid and looking completely and utterly shattered.

That serve out wide to the rightie's backhand works well on Virtua Tennis 4 as well :)
