Injuries? He's been pretty surplus at Lazio as they play with no Wingers. Whenever he has started he's been great though. He's started 12 games and got 4 goals and 8 assists, He's got 16 sub appearances with 3 goals and 2 assists.

I reckon if anything, He'd be the closest thing to doing a 'Salah' spitting out a goal/assist a game per start.

A lot of attitude merchants in here seem to want him.
 
I can't see this transfer happening, despite Jose (and Willian himself) probably wanting it to happen.

  • Willian was arguably Chelsea's best player this season.
  • Looks like Conte will be leaving (maybe being replaced with the Napoli manager?) - so there's no conflict there.
  • Surely Chelsea will not want to make the same mistake as they did with Matic.

He didn't play a game until the beginning of December. The reason he's been subbed off or on is Lazio being cautious with him. There was a point, where the club wasn't sure, when he would return to play. Those problems started last summer, if I recall it correctly. Not been his first lengthy spell on the sidelines.

But I think he would be worth it. He can be a frustrating player, but he's definitely Mourinho's type of attacking player.

I knew he was out but i didn't know it was like that. What do you reckon he'd cost now then, given injuries and that he's surplus? He played 2 full 90's in Lazio's last 2 matches an got MOTM in both games, seems to be back to his usual self.

No idea, honestly. Frankly I don't care, I just hope we get better.
 
Ousmane Dembélé may be available in the summer. He can't nail the starting spot if Griezmann join Barca. £100M probably is enough to convince Barca to part company with him.

For almost the same money you can either get a 29 yr old super star in Bale, or a young talent Dembélé.

If someone does, it would be the stupidest thing in the history of football.

They are simply hypocrites. Martial has not even done any weird thing on his social media or in actual life compared to the Brazilian.

Willian (being 29 years old) is actually supposed to be more mature since Martial is 7 years younger.

To be fair, Willian
a) has never been a disruptive figure in the past at Chelsea, even when there were all the "player power" issues and various problems under managers etc
b) kept it until the season was over before saying anything. Not like he started stirring shit before the cup final
 
He also says after that he's happy at Chelsea and he wants to stay there. However, he wouldn't have said the things he had if he didn't want to come here.
 
If the translation is correct, that is quite something to put out there. The part that is far more interesting is where he confirms United's contacted him.
 
If there’s one thing I’ve learned from Cristiano Ronaldo, is never take whatever a footballer says at face value when it comes to transfers.

He’s ‘happy at Chelsea’ yet ‘hopes to remain there’ and ‘wants to work with Mourinho again’. It’s all a bunch of smoke and mirrors with the clubs, the agents and the players at times. Maybe Willian wants to collect his loyalty bonus with Chelsea. Maybe he doesn’t want to rock the boat with Chelsea because he’s got a professional mindset... or he knows if he sits tight and doesn’t pipe up, the move will flow easier and be more likely to happen. Maybe it’s a coded message to the Utd hierarchy.
 
I would happily take him at this point hell i would take herpes before having Mata as our starting RW this season.

With Rashford and possibly still martial as options from the bench is so, so much stronger.
 
We will struggle to get one deal over the line let alone two. This one I think is dead in the water
