Will Harry Kane ever win a trophy? | No

Are you sure?
Nah I don't hate the guy. It would just be amusing to me, that's all. It's not like I'm gonna break plates and furniture if he wins a trophy. But if he doesn't it's gon' give me a good chuckle. I'm not from England either so I don't give a feck if England wins an international trophy or not either.

Lewa in 20/21 registered 48 goals, 9 assists in 3,389 minutes.
Kane in 23/24 has registered 44 goals, 11 assists in 3,849 minutes.

If Bayern wins the CL, the Ballon D'or is a lock.

Surely he needs to contribute something massive to that and not just a couple of penalties? Think he’s been pretty crap in the big games this season. Story of his career, great until serious pressure and expectation comes.

I like Kane as a player, but if you want to be regarded as one of great player you need to score clutch goals in games like these, especially if you are striker. Even some midfielders and defenders are remembered more in history because they scored some of the most important goals for their teams, and by the looks of it, he won't be regarded as such, despite scoring ridiculous amount of goals every season.

He still has time, and this doesn't make him any less world class striker, but I feel this is good opportunity missed to be remembered as potentially great.

I hope he never wins the trophy.

I quite like the guy and he's a good footballer but the losing streak is just too amusing.

He hit side meeting when he could gave made it 2-0 that's why he us a great goalscorer but not a trophy winner.

The curse in full flow today. Bunch of Bayern players magically get injured, Tuchel with the questionable subs, Neuer blunder and full Bayern collapse at the end.

Yeah, it definitely seems that he’s cursed. To have your team be 1-0 up with 2 minutes to go only to lose 2-1 just sums it all up. You can take the man out of Spurs but you can’t take the Spurs out of the man.

The only way this narrative could get funnier would be if spurs somehow won a trophy before he did

That chance he had at 1-0 will surely haunt him. To not even hit the target is so poor.

You don’t respect time, time won’t respect you. Stayed at spurs till 30, now face the consequences.

Quiet again. He's just not a big game player, too many examples for me now. I would have bet my mortgage on him scoring the pen against France, but he just doesn't have the clutch gene.

He’s always looked slow/heavy though. Even when he was in his early 20s. He’s got 36 league goals this season? Obviously still a phenomenal player. And the fact he never relied on pace means he shouldn’t decline as quickly as some.
Slower/heavier then. Too many bratwurst.

Doubt it (probably a few for the cameras and one a week for show). He's an insane trainer by all accounts - peak Ronaldo levels in terms of working after-hours on skills and maintaining fitness, if not so much the muscle sculpting gym work. No alcohol (except, again, for the cameras at Oktoberfest) during the season. But yeah, Tuchel should have kept him on till the end and retained some kind of pace aside from AD to complement him on counters.

Was joking about bratwurst but I do think he looks a bit more stocky.

Will be quite funny if Bayern also go trophyless next season, doubly so if Spurs miraculously win something too.

The Football Gods just do not want this man to have any joy in his life.

The being said, odds are he'll get a Bundesliga trophy next season.

I still think he's cursed from swearing on his daughters life he touched that cross.

Between him and Romelu Lukaku, I don't know who has the most haunting and most costly misses out there.

someone further up the page was surprised at saying he doesn’t come through in the big games. But here it was again, it doesn’t make sense to talk about curses etc when he’s had a great chance to bury Madrid and just made a mess of it. Didn’t even hit the target, in a run of the mill league game I bet he keeps that low, goes across the keeper and scores, but he’s just had a rush of blood to the head and lost his composure. The best of the best usually don’t do that.
