Ireland is confusing.
Evans' Britishness in a Zaha thread is even more confusing.

I love how they've felt the need to explain in brackets what "mandem" means. As if everything else said here makes absolutely perfect sense to the average, normal person.
Great Britain and Northern Ireland passport.
Yes.
Yes, he'll qualify as British. As I do.

Northern Irish.
And you're spoiling this brilliant Zaha thread with Irishness. Start a new thread in the Northern Ireland forum. Or something.
Northern Ireland is not part of Great Britain. You may like it or not, but those are the facts. And Zaha looks a bit tasty.
fecking really lads.
Stop the shite in a Zaha thread about Evans national identity or lack there of.
This place does my head in sometimes.
I didn't bring this into the thread, I replied to a post.
He's British. As am I.
Zaha? Indeed. And I don't care whether you see yourself as a cabbage and all, it's got nothing do with this thread.
What the feck are you telling me for? I didn't bring it to the thread, so do one.
Jonny Evans is a Brit, he's not shit, he's a hit
Jonny Evans is a Brit, feck Louis Zaha.
I know it isn't, it's part of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. My passport is the same as that owned by someone from England, Scotland or Wales, and on official documents I'm classified as British, whether you like that or not. I'd bet Jonny Evans is the same.
Call him British, call him Azerbejainian, call him what you want. But Jonny Evans wasn't born in Great Britain. Facht!
What the feck does it matter anyway? We're all the same. It's all just man made borders, it's all bullshit. And Zaha looks a good player.
To get the thread back on track a little... Imagine we sign no more wide men (or anyone who would force anyone else out onto the wing), and we keep our current wingers. Who do you start on the wings in our first game of the season?
Signs of Valencia regaining form in the last month or so of the season. Nani generally better than him this season but fell well out of favour and was unreliable in terms of form and attitude. Zaha flying, but coming into a new club and a much higher quality league.
I'd be tempted to start Valencia and Nani, on the presumption that by the start of the season they'll both be back in form. But as soon as either was not playing well, I'd drop him for Zaha. Even if that meant playing him in the second game of the season.

Everything will depend of form showed in pre season probably, and injuries of course.
No-one. I'd go central and rely on our FB's for width.
Sell all the wingers, including the one we've just signed!
Stupid post even from the normally contrary TN.
He said which wingers would I play the first game of the season. I have given and backed up my view as to why I would play with no-wingers.
Thankfully for us all my opinion counts for nothing.
Oh yeah, shit, Young. I'd forgotten he existed. A bit like when you wake up thinking it's Saturday and find out it's actually Sunday. Not the worst blow in the world - it could be Monday/Bebe, after all - but everything seems just a little bit darker because of it...
Saw today's game, which was my first 90-minute watch of him. Not sure how I feel. On the one hand he's an unpredictable dribbler, often inventive with the sudden shift in direction he takes. At other times though, he actually reminded me of Bebe - pacy, leggy and crosses soaring past their targets. Either way, he's raw, that's for sure.
I need more booze! The shenanigans over the past two pages have made me hypersensitive to the opinions of fellow nordies!
When will he join the squad?
