These 2 idiots definitely learned everything they know about managing a club under Woodward. There can be no doubt about that now.
He should be sacking wasters like Murtough and Fletcher for a start. There's too much of an old boys club vibe at this club, where people get hired for who they know rather than what they know. There's also a lack of accountability for failure

Agree. Fletcher especially. Murtough did some good things with the youth, but Fletcher is the luckiest bloke going, football wise.

They are great sacrificial lambs though and a nice buffer for him. I can’t see him wanting to let that go for at least another year. He’s made it very clear nothing in the past or present is his fault.
If he did sack them he’d have to do something and replace them and then be accountable for it. Expect PR about needing time for things to work, then if it still fails he can blame it all on Woodward as he appointed them.
I feel that Murtough is getting all the shits. Arnold is the one in charge here. We used to make Woodward accountable. Arnold cannot just hide behind and push all the blame to Murtough.

I think a lot of people were sceptical of Arnold at first as he had been at the club for whole time though out the billion wasted and complete shambles of a structure.
Then that leaked footage came out, and a lot of us went ow ok this guy has his head screwed on.
Now though I think fans will turn on him again if he doesn’t take action and get rid of Murtough and get a proper recruitment and support team around Ten Hag.
