Why hasn't anyone used this tactic yet?

Didnt Hummels get booked for laying down and heading it back to the goalkeeper? And it was utterly confused, because he had no idea that rule was in place. I'm certain there is some rule against blatant gamesmanship of that level.

The thread turned out to be bad because of the rule they found out, NOT beause of your guys counter arguments ..."Oh, just someone to mark the defender!" What? My 7 FT TALL DEFENDER? Remember, footballers are usually like 5'10. It would look like this (Also, GK are tall and have loong arms)

Damn, a fountain of gold post. Well done OP.

You think people moan about Mourinho’s football now.... imagine if this became a thing.

Although I suppose it’d keep the “results are all that matter” crowd hard.

I'm not sure I'm just speculating. I would've thought it can be classified as unsporting behaviour though.

Not too different from taking ball to corner flag in extra time. However teams
do not takw ball to corner flag as soon as they are 1-0 up but they could!

I couldn't actually see Lindof winning the header against air.

I think it would be hard to pull of with a 100 percent accuracy, especially considering that one mistake could end up costly as it's pretty much close to the goal .

It's been made illegal anyway so won't matter unfortunately, would have loved to see this in action.
