Why hasn't anyone used this tactic yet?

Can one player lift another player up du ring corners like a rugby lineout?

Why doesn't anyone use Japan's formation back in the 30's, the 1-6-3?

What about if two players get a corner flag each and hit the ball to each other with them?

Why can't De Gea place the ball in Fellainis hair? Then Fellaini can just walk about with the ball in his hair and see out the match
I was thinking that. Or you sign the world's tallest man and after you go go 1-0 up, bring him on and just get him to balance the ball on top of his head so no-one can get it.

Another good idea: a team put FIVE really tall strikers, then play 4-1-0-5 tactic. Those strikers gathers around penalty box, while the defenders/DM just hoof it to them. Feck the midfield and possession. Most team just have 2 to 3 tall players in the back. So your 5 tall strikers have bigger chance to win it.

Also, as the opponent needs more bodies on defending, it means they have less players in midfield and attack.

I guess that could be fun to try on FUT :p

The thread turned out to be bad because of the rule they found out, NOT beause of your guys counter arguments. "Oh, just someone to mark the defender!" What? My 7 FT TALL DEFENDER? Remember, footballers are usually like 5'10. It would look like this (Also, GK are tall and have loong arms)

I don't know how he managed it, it was reaching Anderson levels of dead, but he somehow saved the thread. Fontaine wins?

I think the OP got off light. It's so stupid I thought there would have been much more ridicule

In all honesty, I can't see why this wouldn't work. It would never happen, but the striker has to give the goalkeeper space when the ball is in his hands, so not even a striker can come near them to stop the cycling of the keeper just bouncing it off a defenders head.

When we go 1-0 up against Arsenal, De Gea and Fellaini know what to do now.

I think the word unstoppable will forever be linked to these images in my mind.

Unsporting behaviour (as already mentioned in this thread).

Suppose your team is winning. Tell your goalkeeper to just throw the ball at your defenders head and grab it back. Its not illegal because the defender is using his head, and there is little risk because the defender will be really close to the GK. And you can do it to multiple defenders, if one is marked.

Seriously, tell me how this wouldn't work?
Well, thank god you only post on forums and not coach a football team.
