Why aren't we being linked with any technically great players?

Fred is not tall but he is Strong and can win a tackle, but he has great energy to get up and down the pitch and above all he can pass long or short.

There are a lot of small players who stick out, and are the better players in top teams.

I'm not disputing any of that. I was just saying that we are not only linked with tall players.
 
Players with energy always give the technicians a hard time. It's the reason why Liverpool give Man City a hard time.

Maybe Jose is building a team to conquer City like he did with Madrid, when Barcelona were on top.
 
Just seen reports of Pjanic being available for £56 million with Real and Barca interested and maybe Modric being made available if Real can get Pjanic, I’d take either playing for us.
