Whorehey Mendes

Is Mendez that bad?

He's an agent, his interest is his client, not United/Madrid/Etc. He gets the best player, he sold his player for profit, what's wrong with that? Big agent fee? Well kudos for him that he can get the best out of what he does best. If we made Madrid pays 100M for DDG it doesn't mean we're evil, it means we're having a good business.

He didn't badmouth anyone directly, and spreading rumors and hearsay are agent's bread and butter, everyone else is doing it.

What's so bad about Mendez?

His interest is himself, nobody else. Did it really benefit Falcao to be stowed away in Chelsea for a wasted season?

Mendes is more like a mafia boss than an agent. He has way too much power.

It's better that his client, Mourinho, is with us rather than against us. It's all about big profits and marketing. There is not bigger marketing club than Manchester United. So, when Jose wants a player, Mendes and Mourinho can at least promise them stardom, such as Ronaldo and Beckham still enjoy now.

We as fans, are always moaning that big players will go to Barca and Real etc etc, but with Mendes helping his client and us out, can only be positive. Of course there will be some draw backs, there always is in football, but I'm quite confident that, we will have first dabs at these big promising talents.

You mean more than you already have by making it into a completely irrelevant discussion of pronunciation?
Not sure that is possible to be honest.

2 other people have pointed out what I have pointed, but of course one has to jump on the bandwagon and continue this discussion. I didn't think my initial comment was going to result in this. The irony in your post is strong, especially considering I made an attempt to get back on-topic after my last post - not that it matters, though.

Nobody put a gun in Chelsea's head to loan Falcao
If he can sell a crock for some money that means he's a smart businessman, if we can sell Jones for 20M the prop is on us.
Unless he's using his Jose connection and Jose got some extra pocket money I don't see what he's doing as wrong, smart and cunning perhaps but hardly evil.

Falcao wanted to go there and Mendes got a good deal for his client. Where's the issue?

Sitting here while coffee brews thinking I suppose the press leak designed to spoil Louis Van Gaal's (and our) FA Cup celebrations tells us something about the immediate future of MUTD. Hoek, named in one of the stories, is already gone. Bastian wasn't a favourite of this informant, nor was Depay (though Depay was 'allowed to waste his talent', so it might be 50 push ups a day for him, and a 1980 Ford Escort). No more Holiday Inns for the rest of the players, but they have to learn to do hard boiled eggs with guacamole and Tabasco sauce on toasted white bread. I'm hungry.

This.

Sir Alex called him the best agent he had ever worked with, and he bloody hated agents.
