Who, with me, believes we can win the premier league?

City seem very beatable at the moment, if we pull off a win against them...

Trouble is we haven't got the bench to impact it
We'd obviously never be the favorites (as of now both arsenal are city are ahead of us in that regard by a sizable margin) but say we get lucky with injuries and some of our players start to hit form you and you never know.

I just meant the City game as Arsenal have similar bench depth to ourselves

If CR was not prick and left us in summer, we probably would get a striker and got few points more. Newcastle and Chelsea games comes to mind.
Fecking idiot.

Please ban the OP if we have bad results against Arsenal or City

It's going to take good Bruno, because we'll have chances to break playing through their press but he'll have to be quality with his passes to the runners. If he's not, we'll get suffocated.
It depends on whether city turns up as well, they could seem really uncreative at times.

The crowd at OT really needs to make it hostile for City. Get in their heads - every time City have the ball they need to be just booing the shit out of them...

Problem is our fans don't feel the same hostility towards City as the scousers

We beat Liverpool after our shitshows against Brentford and Brighton though they were poor and Arsenal, when they were really flying . There hasn't really been many performances where City have played better than Arsenal this season either.

The Derby is a completely different proposition to when we got done at the Emptihad, and we managed to contrive to get 3 goals against them even then. There really isn't anything to suggest that we're going to get beat again and I firmly believe that we will win.

We don't have Ronaldo anymore and ten Hag has us cooking. A lot of the Berties on Bluemoon are not confident and there are a lot of Barca fans on BarcaForum expecting us to dump them out of the Europa.

It may well end in a draw but we ain't getting beat, that's for sure. I'll definitely be putting money on a United win though.

If we beat City and Arsenal, we are definitely in a title race, no matter what anyone many say.

I view them as a plastic club that wins because a rich nation's dictator decided so. Arsenal winning would be much worse for me then the current Cheaty getting another one.

Same. City wins doesnt do anything to me, but if Arsenal/Liverpool wins that would be nightmare. I hate those two with passion.

If we beat Arsenal.and City we are in a title race, make no mistake. We will have played them both twice and they will still have to play each other twice. Big if but one can dream.

Currently 28-1 which seems to be generous odds. I think we’re looking in great shape

Of course we can. Many are ready to hand the title to Arsenal and I'd put our first 11 against theirs any day of the week. But what can happen and what will happen can often be 2 different things. I still think it's City's title to lose...

As much as I would want us to win the league, I think our squad depth is going to let us down and especially not having a proper striker upfront to that can get us those scrappy wins. I do think a draw against City and a win against Arsenal will bring us into the race for second spot

I also think it's City's to lose, but that's based on an assumption that Arsenal will fall off later in the season. If Arteta is lucky with injuries and manages to hold first place to the end of the season, that will be quite a feat. On paper our squad is easily as good as theirs, but we're going to end up playing a good few matches than them, so our squad is going to be much more stretched.
If we do win it, it will as much to do with the other top sides' failures (including Liverpool, Chelsea) but winning the title is sometimes about other teams slipping up. It would still be a seriously good achievement for ETH in his first season.

Winning confidently 2-0 on Saturday will galvanize the team. The game against City is the biggest test from a mental standpoint. We always do well against Arsenal although they will want revenge. We need to beat city! We will beat city!

If we beat city, palace and arsenal over the next 10 days.. I actually will believe we are in the race (not win it, but names in the hat).

let’s be totally honest that’s not easy. The run we have had has been teams that on paper we should beat (I know over the recent years we haven’t and that’s been the problem) but we SHOULD beat these teams and it’s no holy grail that we have done so, it just shows mentality shift and better coaching.

can we take points of city and arsenal, that’s the real test and it will tell us everything we need to know about where we’re truely at.

Think we are in it with 4 points from them IF Spurs actually take something from NLD

Without a doubt. It could be seen as our most important game of the year. Watch us draw it now.

Would we gain confidence as a team if we draw?

Depends what kind of draw it is,if it's like scousers few seasons back (damn Lallana) then would feel a setback, however if it's a late equaliser like Casemiro then gives us confidence.

If we were to win our next 3 games and Arsenal lose to Spurs then why not!
