Who will want to sign for us this summer with Moyes in the job?

This reeks hipocrisy, where's the pride of blowing only what we earned? Now our answer to everything is simply "throw them more money, more money, more money"

Isn't it only last year people brag about "players that wants to play for us" and all that mumbo jumbo bravado bullshit? Rentsky? Mercenaries? How 8mths under Moyes changes alot of things eh.
You need to calm down (the Prozac thing again).

The money we spend in the transfer window will be money we've earned in all the time we weren't spending it.

By that rights, Everton should have 200M for 10 years of Moyes' negative spend, while Arsenal probably would have had 1bn?

What a failed logic. We spend that money (i.e. dividents, loan repayment, reinvestment, booked profits, etc) but that doesn't mean all that are still in the bank. Gosh.. forgive me to ask, but how old are you?

You said "where's the pride in blowing only what we earned". How do you know we're not "blowing only what we earned"?

If you want to know my age, look at my profile.

As for the database of targets, Barcelona has a whole department of 18 people involved in identifying targets from a very early age and monitoring every facet of their personal and playing life throughout their career.

Maybe you should offer your services to Barcelona and save them some money! ;)

well thats worked out well for them so far with buying players under 18 (perhaps they should have a department of 19 people and employ one person to read the rulebook?

I made a thread when I was back in the newbs basically saying the opposite of this - that who the manager is, normally, only makes a positive difference and very rarely will a player choose to not go to a club or choose another club based upon not thinking a lot of the manager. A player is likely to join a team because of a particular manager in only a few cases (Maybe Pep or Mourinho or if the player has a personal connection).

Few players will say - 'I don't want to work under a manager', or use that as a reason to choose another club.

Money, club prestige, club prospects, ability to play in Europe, quality of players around them are all more important that who the manager is.

There are lots of sticks to beat Moyes with; this just is not one of them. If we can offer the same money or more and have other benefits, we will get the players that we want.
