Who will be our marquee signing this summer? (If at all)

Woody loves them. The fans, the press, the players love them. But will we get a marquee signing or two this summer?

And if so, who do you think it will be?

I think there seem to be a very small number of players that may *possibly* be available- Bale, Pogba, Reus?

Personally, I thought Bale was a possibility but that looks less likely based on the noises in the press lately and the shithead's own comments recently.

Not really sure we will get one this summer, personally.
 
I reckon we've tried for Benzema and Bale and had no luck, hence turning our attention to Kane
 
I am not sure we'll have a "marquee" signing in the Falcao or Di maria mould....maybe Pogba if Woodie has his way.
I think we will definitely get top players in the positions we need them in (Depay, Otamendi, Gundogan,Firminio)

Kane is going for a marquee price, but he is not a marquee player (yet).

I believe we tried to sign a few players from Madrid (Varane, Bale, Benzema) but they don't want to sell..maybe if we play hardball with DDG that may gain some traction.
 
Memphis is the marquee signing for us this summer.

Hate the term 'marquee signing' just a made up bullshit phrase by the media to entice you in. Hope we sign in area's needed & I like the idea of Clyne, Hummels, Schneiderlin OR Kondogbia, Gundogan OR Schweinsteiger, Higuain OR Kane. Its about what we need, marquee my arse....
 
I don't think United fans particularly love marquee signings.

Hummels will be pretty 'marquee'. Though, i have personal doubts over his abilities as a whole.
 
We don't need Marquee ffs, our signing of the season was far from a marquee signing, yet he was a player we have been screaming for in a position we haven't filled properly for years. That's what we should be more interested about than some big name; didn't exactly work out last year for us, did it?

Aye. Seems like we really want to make a £40m+ statement signing but most likely we'll end up signing some good players for £20m to £40m fees - and will be considerably better off.

Schneiderlin, Otamendi, Depay and Firmino will have been incredible Summer.
 
The most money we'll spend will probably be for Lloris (thanks Dave).

Memphis would be the one closely classified as marquee because he's the one who most people are excited about.

Don't get me wrong, Depay has huge potential. But to me, after last summer, Depay is the equivalent to the Blind signing. There's bigger and better signings for us this summer, I can feel it
 
I don't know if it's a sign or just coincidence, but I just finished putting up a marquee in my back garden. It's only on loan from some friends, so I'm guessing we're looking at another Falcao situation.
 
Be out of this world if we managed to sign Bale. I'd permanently jizzing everywhere, uncontrollably
