Who is your dream summer signing?

Hopefully Woody has seen this thread . Should make for a pretty handy 'to do list' for this summer.

Bale or Pogba because I think both would be absolute monsters in the Premier League.

But in a realistic ideal world, a new striker to give the team an entirely new sense of direction. Absolutely unconvinced by all the options we have up there now, yes Rooney too.

De Gea

Top class goalkeeper is always essential for a successful team
Is it though? Valdes was the keeper for arguably the most dominant team of the last 20 years, and yet many around here question whether he's top class. And Real Madrid won the CL last year, despite having a pretty iffy Casillas. AC Milan in the mid-2000s with Dida also springs to mind. It obviously helps a lot, but I'm not sure it's essential.

If you have an a truly exceptional team like those you stated you could probably get away with a keeper below absolute top class but I don't think we're at that stage yet

Who's this Nainggolan guy from Roma we're being linked with? He looks like a knock off Vidal with peroxide in his hair!

No doubt you're probably right. I guess I would be able to get over the loss of DDG if we able to bring someone like Isco or Reus. But losing DDG would be huge, no doubt. I'd almost be tempted to keep him this year, whether he wants to stay or not.

I'd find it pretty strange if Schneiderlin was to move from Southampton to Spurs, especially as he's already said he wants Champions League football. Wouldn't really be showing any progression, in my opinion.

"For my progress and my visibility, it would be better to play for a club who play in the Champions League".

I'd imagine that first and foremost, even above playing for a CL football team, he'd want to be a regular part of the starting XI rather than just being part of squad rotation. IF - and that's the question - there's a top 4 team in England who offer him that promise then sure, he'll go there. If there isn't such a club, then Spurs would have a good chance of luring away from S'Hampton.
