Who is your dream summer signing?

Gareth Bale isn't the player we need the most but he's certainly the most exciting, and potentially the most decisive, realistic signing.

Would love Zlatan!! Him and Rooney would have to be the meanest strike force in europe!

Well I don't know about you - but I wouldn't mind having a front 3 of Bale, Rooney and Depay in away games where we could counter any times to shreds :)
 
Mario Gotze, Purely on the basis we can then see his girlfriend Ann-Kathrin every week at Old Trafford.

It's been too long since we had a seriously world class winger. For years now it's been Young, Valencia and Nani. Young has been in good form this season and Nani can be capable of really impressive stuff but they are all below par IMHO and wouldn't have lasted this long at Bayern Munich and Barcelona (which I keep saying is the level we should aspire to given our resources).
 
Bale would fix your problems like ADM fixed them this season.

Hummels, DDG, Pogba are clearly the 3 marquee signings you need.
 
Arturo Vidal, his experience would be valuable, he would be a very good bridge between Carrick and hopefully Pearson and Rothwell.
 
We do not even need to sign a gareth bale, the club needs to concentrate on signing a RB, 2 CB's and 2 CM players. The dream signing would be signing 5 players to strengthen the CM RB and CB positions, to avoid playing rooney in midfield and stop fielding the likes of mcnair

Replace Carrick with a big signing this summer or the next and you've got a front 6 for the next few years, and we can afford to be choosy, spending big on one attacker when the right one comes up.
 
Like several others, I have De Gea as the single most important bit of business this summer.

After that, it's the midfield with Pogba looking like the best signing at the moment. A long term replacement for Carrick right up there, but I'm not aware an orchastrator good enough that's available. Maybe next year.

A marquee center half is important, but I wonder if Hummels is too slow for the hero mode defending the team makes necessary several times a match. Regardless, I see him coming over.
