Probably true, but then, which ones were handsome? Maybe Bowie, although he was also a bit weird-looking. It was their charisma and talent, not looks - and the same was true for Best.
I'm genuinely surprised with the amount of Best mentions in this thread. Personally, I always found his “If I had been born ugly,” quote a bit weird, because he wasn't that handsome. Beautiful, beautiful player, playboy, cult hero and a legend, but not a beautiful man.
