Which players do you think could surprise us next season?

I think it's fairly self evident which players have shown they can operate under quick pass and move system. Shaw, Sancho, Fred, Dalot, Bruno, VDB, Mejbri, Elanga, Diallo.

The rest are going to have to change their games fundamentally to shine in such a team. McTominay is too static, Rashford too greedy, Martial too lazy, AWB poor on the ball.
 
Scott McTominay could be a powerful weapon in a more structured set up. I think he'll be a mainstay of the team going forwards, and potentially even be made captain at some point in the next 2 or 3 seasons
 
Definitely Sancho, I think he'll shine under a proper system. He's way too talented not to.
 
I think there's potential for lots of players to surprise us.

Almost every single player has been horrible this year because we've tried to play a brand of football we can't play (or that hasn't been well-enough coached into them).

We have this tendency to label all of our players s**t, but they're objectively not, since they finished 3rd and then 2nd in the not-to-distant past. Sometimes a little bit of organisation and confidence goes a long way.

The caveat to that is Rashford, he's just terrible and should be sold for whatever we can get :D
