Which player do you dislike the most?

Andy Townsend.

He really gives it the big'un when realistically he only had a slightly more successful playing career than I did (his two league cups vs my three cub scout Cup win's 92 - 95).

Plus I'd wager I was more pivotal to those teams.

Neymar. The constant whining and diving, exaggerating small fouls just can't stand him.

I've seen a lot of people say that he's been nothing but professional this season, but even I was annoyed when he came on, took the arm band and then shamelessly went on to lift the trophy. Not that he's done anything wrong, but he should know that he's done nothing to deserve that. Could've easily let Bruno keep the arm band, let Case/Rashford lift the trophy with Bruno and celebrated with the team in the background, same place he's been the entire season.

I suppose he should have stayed on the bench by himself, better yet put a cone on his head and make him sit by the corner flag. How dare he even join in the celebrations.

I don’t hate him, but I was so pissed he thought he was bigger than the club by speaking to piers Morgan. He was my favorite and was a legend of the club, but that stun he pulled off, I don’t really want him close to my club anymore.

Stevie Me, even when on England duty. Not sure if I always disliked him so much as I usually don't care, but it escalated after the incident with the DJ. Just a thoroughly dislikeable chap.

My first post on this forum, and hate is a v strong word.. but dislike....Jack Grealish does come to mind. Over-rated, self-indulged, a cheat (imo) and fawned over (no idesa why...) by the media. He is one of the reasons Citeh' are worst this season, he's so average and predictable. Foden has come back in and in less than two games, showed Grealish what a proper player is all about about.

Grealish just shone at Villa because he was arguably the best player in that squad. Turns out if you put him in with the City lineup, you realise he is massively overrated.

As for the players I dislike the most, in recent memory I can't get past Suarez, and that was even before he started biting other players. Just a horrible character of a player that seemed more than aware of what he was doing, how everybody else felt about it and despite that, he thought everybody was wrong and he should just carry on.

Luis Suarez, Andy carroll, Ronaldo, Mbappe, Andy Robertson, David Luiz

I used to hate Carlton Palmer, was he actually a footballer or did he somehow manage to blag his way into a football team, he was so unpleasant to watch I have more balance and poise when I am 3 sheets to the wind

He genuinely looked like he was drunk at times.

Very odd player.

Not unlikeable, though, for me.

I don't watch enough football to actually hate someone nowadays.
Will have to chose from one of our PL rivals.

Kyle Walker, Andy Robertson and Van Dijk are amongst the most unlikable in my book.

And then there's Maguire even though the fact that he seems to not make a fuss about being a bench player,
kind of makes me appreciate him if nothing else.

Craig Bellamy, nasty little troll. Other contenders Steve Mcmahon, Luis Suarez, Neil Ruddock, Diego Simeone, Vincent Kompany, Jamie Vardy, Neymar,

At present Ronaldo might still just be pipping the rest.

Although partly as there aren't many players I hate since City started winning things, because I just can't bring myself to take them seriously, and the fact they're better than Liverpool stops my hate for Liverpool players reaching an irrational level.

Plus there is literally no player in the PL close to the levels of twattery of basically the entire Chelsea squad between 2005-2010, and they were already a downgrade on the Arsenal team the few years before that.

Nowadays a stand out twat is someone who fouls people a bit or moans at the ref. Back then you had Ashley Cole taking guns into training and using them to shoot work experience kids, and John Terry holding the England team hostage because he wanted to be the captain and a racist at the same time.

In football at United - I find Sancho quite irritating

Btw in Cricket it’s Kohli.

This made me realise how much of a soulless club City are. Liverpool/Arsenal/Chelsea etc are teams you love to hate. Can't stand any of their players,
however with City I just feel so indifferent to all of them. Like does anyone actually hate KDB, Mahrez, Ruben Dias or Rodri? Barring maybe Haaland, none of them have any character whatsoever, they're just sort of.... there.

Anyway, on topic of the thread. My #1 has gotta be Robertson. Close 2nd is James Milner

Suarez because of all the detestable shit he's pulled

*Biting
*Racism
*Blatant Cheating (Diving/Ghana Handball)
*Habitual Lying

Even taking off the anti-scouser lenses he's pretty vile as a sportsman for all his on-field talent

Barton would be 2nd

Mine is without doubt Ramsdale. He’s nowhere near as good as he thinks he is and just summarises this current arsenal team mentality. No real class!

Andy Robertson>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Diego Costa, Neymar, Pepe, Di Maria.

Also Maguire, but mostly because he is our worst captain. I don't really care for him if he plays for Stoke.

Suarez, Diego Costa, Pepe in recent years.

Current least favourite United players are Maguire for his lack of self awareness and arrogance, Anthony for almost everything about him apart from his work ethic.

Jesus, did you a womble break your heart????

I just find them really self important. The whole "Crazy Gang" schtick really gets on my nerves as well, there was a hilarious documentary a few years back when Jones and Fashanu tried to put do each other in the "'ardman" stakes and they both came across like utter.pricks.

Eric Gordon was a cnut as well, tried ending Dion Dublin's career when he played for us.

Current Oppo: Haaland, don't even hate him because he's good but I hate how he carries himself.
Current Utd Player: Henderson
Past Oppo: Suarez
Past Utd Player: Di Maria (the sole reason I was rooting against Argentina at the WC)

Joey Barton. Absolute bell end. Continues to prove what a thoroughly horrible individual he is. If he hadn't been a footballer, he'd have ended up at HMP.

Barella or Lautaro, both insufferable crybaby twats and really at home at their current club.

Steven Gerrard
Michael Owen
Martin Keown
Suarez
Barton
Craig Bellamy
Nunez, early days but is heading in the right direction.
