Which of your toys will you throw out the pram if Sancho, Antony and Rashford return to United?

It'll be my Lego fire station set.

Seriously, what will you do if these guys all come back and are available for selection for the first game of the season ?

Question is directed the wrong way. What will THEY throw at the pram? How many tools will THEY down?

Sancho, Antony and Rashford

Might fancy Antony as an option at WB

If Rashford came back he would have nowhere to hide given how he has played at Villa, would rather he left but would not be devastated if he came back, but would probably see he loaned out again by January.

Antony would be a squad player, the disappointment would be with both Antony and Rashford that we would not have the money from their sales.

Sancho can just do one, no way he ever pulls on a Utd shirt again, he should not even get to poison the reserves, Chelsea have to offer him a contract, doesn't have to be reasonable, whether he wants to take a pay cut or sit in the reserves is up to him... he should go to Italy might do okay there

People say that Antony is the worst ever Utd signing, I would argue that Sancho is by a mile, given the wages he is on and his attitude, Antony may not have been good enough but he tried a heck of a lot more than Sancho ever did

It’d be annoying because it’d block signings. But ultimately we know they won’t play if their attitude isn’t right.

I think Antony would have the best chance

Sancho from years ago would have been an interesting option for one of the 10 roles

We know Antony works hard, so I have no issue with him returning. He can be a squad player.

Rashford and Sancho don‘t deserve another chance.

Trust me all three won’t be

2 expensive failures but I think the club are sensible now to cut their losses and move on

I'd be a little annoyed with Sancho but also find it absolutely fecking hilarious that Chelsea would've paid NOT to sign him.

Antony and Rashford will almost certainly have some sale value now.

Sancho is the big problem.

Sancho might actually wanna play under Ruben.
Antony might have another chance if he performs well on loan.

Rashford is the one without any chance at all.
So no toy.

I'd still like to see Antony be given a proper run as LWB, if we don't buy a new one this summer.
High workrate and i think he will do better on the left where he can cross the ball into the box, than on the right where he will cut in and miss his shot...

Interesting question. Given there isn’t an obligation to buy clause I’m assuming Antony will return?

All that matters to me is that United do well. If these guys do come back to the club (which is pretty unlikely I suspect), if they perform in training as if their lives depended on it and if they carry themselves in a way that convinces the manager they can genuinely make a contribution, I'd be happy with that. But that's 4 ifs already and the 5th is the biggest of the bunch - if they played and did well I'd be chuffed to bits. Does it seem likely? Not at all.

There is no way back for Sancho with the disrespect he has shown for the club and fans regardless of manager

Chelsea are toying with the idea of paying the penalty clause, which one would assume is slightly higher than the transfer fee in order to not be stuck with him and his wages for 5 years.
Wow that’s damning

He's an unprofessional sod and Ruben won't like him.

Oh, bugger. I hadn't seen that about Sancho. I thought with Chelsea being 4th (so no danger of finishing below 14th) that he was at least one that we were guaranteed of selling.

Out of the three, he's the one I least want back. The other two at least either show decent work rate (Antony) or have the occasional very good season with us when they could be arsed (Rashford). Sancho has shown very little with us or his loan spells - bar the occasional hype when he first goes out on loan and it's a chance for people to poke us with a stick by saying 'how well he's done' whenever he does anything remotely OK.

I still have a lot of my subbuteo squads and stands that my brother and I played with a lot. Maybe I'd 'throw them out of my loft' if we get stuck with most of those three next year.

Breakup clauses in contracts are typically a fraction of the agreed price. For example, Adobe paid Figma a billion dollars as a break up fee (and that wasn’t even Adobe’s fault - it was blocked in antitrust grounds). A billion is clearly a giant sum, but it was only 5% of the agreed price.

In any case, a club preferring to pay a break up fee rather than sign the player is an indictment of that player’s performances.

Neither Antony nor Rashford have disrespected the club. Respect for them.

Sancho on the other hand...

All of them. All 3 need to be gone this summer. By hook or crook.

For what it's worth, Fabrizio Romano has recently "guaranteed" Chelsea will fulfill the obligation to buy.

Antony has shown enough on loan - that someone will buy him in the summer.

Rashford hasn’t set the world on fire, but don’t think he will be here beyond the summer.

Sancho. Can’t see him ever playing for the club, even if there was the smallest chance Chelsea don’t fulfil the obligation.

I’d take them all back. We have no attacking players and no money to buy better than these three. All three would walk into our starting lineup at the moment.

I think we should be looking to bring Antony back in next season, he's decent backup to Amad in the wing back position

Rashford and Sancho I think it's better for everyone if they don't return

I would absolutely hate to see Rashford or Sancho back at the club.

Antony is nowhere near good enough but I can at least stand him.

Well they wouldn't run.

To be honest, I don't even think this would be that bad of a scenario? Making more than a transfer fee, not to sell him, and then potentially selling him on to a place like Dortmund at a significantly reduced fee, with maybe a small portion of the wages covered, would be fine.

Rashford has shown any disrespect towards the club. No way he should be let back near the club. Antony less so, but he needs to find his way to the bin anyway.

Sancho is just a bellend, the idea that Chelsea would be money not to sign him is ridiculous. But also hilarious if true.

Completely false.
