Thought Onana was back in training. Why we sending three young goalkeepers?
 
Thought we'd see Onana, Amad, Antony and Sancho tbh.

Sancho was already confirmed that he was not going to be involved for this game. He will be available for the others games though. But yea, a bit surprised to see the others not included.

Good to see Casemiro and Mount fit enough for the match. I'm also looking forward to watching Amass play since the caf's been hyping him up and we need a left-back.
 
McTominay will return on Wednesday and might be available for selection vs Rangers.

Yeah one would think so. Unless some of them have some minor injury issues.
 
Wise choice to rest the players that aren't fit
Hopefully we give some youth a chance
Eric needs to time assess the squad
Now is the time as the season is near

Amad is one I look forward to seeing
Really unlucky to not start the FA Cup final
Easy for him to throw his toys out

Then you have Mason Mount
He has a lot to prove following last year
Eager to prove he's worth his big fee

Looking at it tactically we might see change
Attack was sorely lacking last year
Defense is undergoing massive changes
Strengthing our squad is a must

Bringing in Ruud is a plus
Attack coaches are essential
Composure and precision in the box
Keeping Hojlund inform is very important

Ineos have a lot to prove this year
New changes will take time to settle though

Ten Hag deservingly stays
Really happy to see him get another shot
A lot of fans seemed to support him
Inspite of the media pressure
No massive fan group went against him
In all I'm excited for the season
Now is the time we see the best of us
Glory, glory, Man United...

Was hoping we would see something different but it was basically them in the gym and playing rondo like every single training video that's come before. Do they ever just take shots at the keeper?

If we buy yet another CB, I can see Maguire also going. I suspect Sancho is still on his way out despite apparently kissing and making up with EtH. Probably a transfer value preservation exercise.
 
When do our internationals like Bruno and Licha return? Assume they’ll join at some point for the US tour.

It's funny that he supposedly enjoys partying but his general body language and face expression don't go hand in hand with this statement.
 
Good news. Is he joining the squad directly in the US then? Or is he reporting back at Carrington? Bruno and Dalot hopefully before the end of the week then.

Edit : Apparently at Carrington and won't take part in the next two games in the US.

Makes sense not to have him fly out to the states for the few days he would have had over there.

Yea. No pre-season for Bruno, Dalot, Martinez, Garnacho, Shaw and Mainoo either. Hopefully all of them are ready for when the season starts. That's literally half of our starting XI.
 
It's over 3 weeks since Bruno and Dalot were knocked out of the Euros. Dalot didn't play much either so should be back in training any day. (EDIT: it looks like they are training individually the last few days anyway).

Martinez, Garnacho, Shaw and Mainoo will be 3 weeks post-final this weekend so hopefully we'll see them back in training next week
 
I expect we'll have a behind closed doors friendly planned for the lads that are reporting back to Carrington this week. Doesn't make much sense them just doing individual plans when the season is 2 weeks away.

Wouldn’t mind giving Bruno an even longer break if Mount can find his form to start the season. His workload ever since he joined has been insane.

I suspect one will have to tranquillise Bruno to get him to sit and rest while the season is starting
 
Garna's on his way back to Manchester, so the rest of them will probably return for the weekend.
