What would be an acceptable offer for Pogba?

Anything less than 150 million would be a bad deal. He’s an unbelievable player but a shitc**t.

Joao Félix just went for €125m or so. Pogba is worth over €150m

I believe the question is do you want a player who if the reported comments of his agent and the player himself are correct, would suggest that he no longer wishes to be associated with the club.
You cannot build a team around such a player regardless of his suggested world class, neither can you have his disruptive influence either in the dressing room or on the training field. It is far better if need be for the club tro take a financial loss and move him on. Doing this makes a clear statement to others that regardless of how you think your world playing status is, if you are not solidly in tune with this club and it's ambitions then you can leave.

£150m straight up. None of that player exchange shit. No more dickhead players who are just here to get paid. I’ll take a potential Longstaff and a James over one ADM any day of the week.

Yeah, I think that would be us shooting ourselves in the foot. It would signal to the football world that you can unsettle our star players and get them on the cheap. If we are to take any sort of loss on him it should be with him in the reserves until January or next summer. That would be a statement, the club is bigger than you.

There is no logic to taking any sort of a cheap deal this summer. He'll have another 2 years on his contract next summer and he'll likely want the chance to be centre stage in the Euros next year too, so he's best advised to STFU and find buyers who can come up the quoted price.

Madrid have taken Ed for a mug several times already with deals like ADM, crazy qouted prices for players like Bale & Morata (90m for us yet sold to chelsea much cheaper). Inter too with their previous rubbish with perisich and none negotiable fees when it comes to united. I am enjoying how they squirming for "deals" now. Seems Ed has learnt well: quote a price, take it or leave it. Personally Pogba to madrid or juve for 150m is not enough. Glad am not in anyway involved in this.

I'd take Mbappe for Pogba and add £50m! Would be a great deal!

Alternatively Neymar is a clown, but would be tempting to take him

If it's Juve:
100M and Bentancur makes sense.

Not sure he's a great fit for Sarri-ball and they'd still have Pogba and Ramsey to start as CMs with Pjanic as the Jorginho type, with Rabiot covering for all 3 midfielders and so getting lots of starts.

We get a young, athletic and talented midfielder who I thought was really impressive against Ajax in the first leg last year and often looks good for Uruguay and with our midfield being a mess he walks into our first XI.

Spend the Pogba cash on a right-winger and a 10, let's say Bruno and Pepe, and sign a CB with the Lukaku money, let's say it's Maguire because it's been rumoured and would fit our young British approach :

Martial-------Rashford-----------Pepe
----------------Bruno-------------------
-----------Bentancur-Fred--------------
Shaw--Maguire---Lindelof--WanBissaka
----------------DeGea----------------

If it's Madrid:
Asensio + 80M would give us a RW and with Hazard now locked on for one wing spot and Jovic/Benzama ensuring a 9 will be played at all times, you have way too many guys like Asensio, Brahim, Rodrygo (apparently a winger), Vinicius around as very young wingers fighting for one spot and probably one or even 2 of Bale, Isco, James next year and then maybe Odegaard will end up a RW there if he's not judged defensively strong enough to be a CM and Kubo is there too. And that's assuming Vasquez does move this summer.

Martial-Rashford-Asensio would be an exciting front 3 and we'd have cash to sign the couple of midfielders we'd need.

Something dumb and Serie A sounding like 120M + Asensio on a 2 year loan with an option for us to buy for 50 or 60M at the end would make me grumble but would probably be okay too.

papers say 120mil which is more realistic. We bought him for 80mil and he has not progressed.

Pogba + Sanchez

<->

£70-90 Million
Isco
Asensio or Odegaard

I will quite happily take the hit money wise to get those players in and get rid of Sanchez.

If it's Juve:
100M and Bentancur makes sense.

That's not a bad call at all, would put Pogba at around 140 million and get us a very good young player who would be a pretty much nailed on starter for United in an area we're struggling with.

If it’s Madrid I would demand two of Vinicius Jr, Ceballos, and Casemiro as well as money.or a straight swap for all three.

feck them trying to pass off their rejects, get players who can make an impact.

From the moment he arrived for a then record transfer fee to much fanfare around the world, it just feels like he never did show us why we paid the fee, why we were so excited and why we expected so much. Pogba is the epitome of what modern day footballs big names have become. Huge salaries, social media influence and numerous other off the pitch distractions that only 10-20 years ago are nothing in comparison.

All this aside I think he's a top player and I don't want to see top players leave unless they clearly have to leave. With the fee paid for him and comparing with the previous record fee holders you can see why people expected him to perform week in week out with a goal and assist minimum every game and I think even he expected it from himself and therein lies what i think has been the biggest problem with Pogba at United. We signed a potential world class midfielder for money that people thought meant we'd signed a player like Ronaldo or Messi.

We have a good idea that from what his agent and even Pogba himself would like is to move on. As much as it pains me I think he's probably right to try and leave too. He has been stuck in a team that has played defensive football for the majority of his time at the club, has missed out on the champions league again with us and to top it all off we just haven't seemed to be able to gel a team together that we can say are a Man United team and we are confident of winning games.

So if he does stay and say we finally do put together a team that can match the likes of Liverpool and City i'm certain he would be a huge part of that team going forward. Pogba is now at a world class level and we have seen what he can do and its time the club starts performing at a world class level too from the board of directors to players on the pitch. I hope Paul Pogba stays what about you?
Just wanted to quote my thread from another forum felt its relevant to the post and hopefully get some thoughts on it.

In todays market we should price him 170+
We can't sell Pogba for dimes when a player like Maguire is priced at 90m! Why sell Pogba for less than Coutino?

Money is worthless to us. If we got 2/3 quality players in exchange then that's good but I don't trust these owners or negotiators to get the best deal for the footballing side. I don't blame him for wanting out. Last season was unacceptable on so many levels. It's not a given he will be sold or will leave but the whole squad need to change their attitude. I'm a believer we should have bought Ronaldo (if we had a chance last summer), because energetically that would have been really something for us. It's defeat to sell Pogba, it sends out the wrong message but again if we can bring in 2/3 quality players then that could be a big boost for us.

I'd snatch their hands off at 120m, or let him rot in the reserves for a year to make a statement.

Hopefully this spells the end of any dealings with Raiola

Cash only - £150 million.

But I think a better deal is if we can get 1-2 players + cash, because Real can stretch their limits a bit further if its not cash only.
However, Gareth Bale I would only take as a loan with option to buy.

Fully agree with you, he's a world class player one of only two (De Gea) that we have and he has shown that when the team is playing well and he is used correctly he's our best player by a distance. Yes theirs the ego, the agent, and the constant speculation around him but that comes with the top players in the modern game. I would only sell him if he made it clear he wants to leave which he hasnt really done yet. If he stays we still have the best box to box midfielder in the world.

Think he HAS made it clear he wants to leave.

These cash plus player deals rarely come off. People need to stop fantasizing.

150m cash. 180 if it’s Milan

Personally I’d chuck him in the reserves for 12 months.

At this moment if Real came in I would want £150m. But would prefer to take player plus cash. Casemiro and £90m although I couldn't see Casemiro coming here. If this were to happen I would want Woody to invest whatever money we get back for him straight into the squad not the Glazer's pockets.

If he were to go to Juve I would take Dybala aand Sandro plus a bit of cash on top.

Having a star player who is desperate to leave and weakens the team spirit is counterproductive. As things stand, if Real/Juve offer 120m, take the money and move on. The costs of prolonging the saga would be bigger than getting 10-15m more or keeping Pogba against his will.

If the €120m is true from Juventus, I’d take it. He’s been poor for us and I can’t believe Juventus are even considering paying more than we paid them.

I know its a sellers market and there have been some big fees recently, Felix being a prime example, but in what world is Pogba a 150m pound player minimum?
The guy is a talented player, no doubt about that, but if it wasnt for the self proclaimed hype and star stuff on social media and the fee we paid for him....in reality we are talking about a player who should be in the prime of his career, yet throughout it, he has been really average in probably 70% of the games he plays. Not that we sould sell for the price, but in reality he currently is probably purely as a footballer only worth the fee we paid for him a few years ago

But market doesn't work like that. In the world where Felix, Coutinho, Dembele went for more than 120 million, Pogba is worth 150 million.

£100m and Bentancur I think would be a fantastic deal. Think he is one of the best young central midfielders in the world and hardly ever gets mentioned

Take Sanchez with you, then 120m. Otherwise cough out the 150m or feck off.

We got fleeced whenever we want to buy, I don't see why we have to lower our demand just because the player throws a tantrum. Pogba can play reserve football 3 years long for all I care.

But market doesn't work like that. In the world where Felix, Coutinho, Dembele went for more than 120 million, Pogba is worth 150 million.

Why? They were all young players with a lot of time ahead of them and had excellent seasons for there clubs, being one of if not the best player in the respective leagues. Pogba shouldnt have been anywhere near the premiership team of the year, he has been superb for a month or two for two spells his whole time here. You dont pay those kind of fees for a player with talent, you pay those kind of fees for a player that produces, he hasnt consistently even when at Juventus. I have over time come round to the thinking of SOuness, the guy is a myth who at club level really isnt an elite player.
I will say this now, nobody will pay £150m for Pogba and that is a bad thing, as if we dont reach some kind of different agreement, do you really still want him here this comign season, as I certainly dont
