Real. Doesn't require any specific skills and the transfers are taken care of by the president. Just turn up and hope you've bought better players than everyone else. They don't expect anything longer than three years, so all good.
He will get £15m severance, but I'd guess only if he doesn't take a job. If I were him I'd be in no rush.

I was strongly in the Jose out camp but I disagree that he's finished at the top level. He made a lot of mistakes at United but given the right circumstances he can still do well. Good luck to him but I'm really happy he's gone.

Fernando Santos is guaranteed a job until the 2020 Euros, Mou won’t manage Portugal yet. Especially with Pepe and Ronaldo being the two main guys in that dressing room.

That's ridiculous. He won those titles. Give him credit. The reality is that all the big managers in all the big clubs spend big. The exceptions are very few. I like to give the elite managers their dues when they win, whether or not they spent. And which top manager will succeed with Wolves or Bournemouth? Pep, Klopp, Ancelloti, Conte?
Jose will be back winning in no time. He may meltdown in his third season but he will be back winning.
Managers always take the blame. Its how it works. Most accept it with dignity and without airing their grievances about the players and the board whilst they are still in the job.
I think people like him have banked enough credit that certain big clubs would still want him. I certainly wouldn't want him if I was a fan of one of these clubs, but chairmen will still view him as an instant success type of manager. He's his ready made excuses for his next interview, "the club didn't back me in the transfer market" blah blah. That old adage proved true though, you can't lose the dressing room.

They are struggling and Kovac won't last long, have a great squad and transfer funds, and I think it would satisfy his ego to win a major league title in yet another country (England Spain Italy + Germany). Bayern usually prefer quiet managers who tow the party line but I think some compromise would be found. Anyway thats a major job I can see opening up soon.

Correct. Jose is one like that. It is extremely rare to see him rant about his old clubs and players after leaving unless someone takes a pop at him first. Usually he will fire back with venom.
Maybe that's why the club chairmen usually consider taking him back and many former players or rivals don't mind playing for him again. The fans are different though.

Im taking you think Guardiola is the best coach in the world then correct? well lets see his first job was with the greatest club team of all time. His second job was with at the time the current best team in the world ( Bayern) and his third team was one of the richest in the world that can give him anyone he wants. So what's your point? should you not be saying that about him then? Mourinho won everything twice, back to back with Porto....Porto. Then conquered England with Chelsea who at the time were not what they are now. Then conquered Europe with a side that was not even a top 3 side in the world in terms of quality.
He was not the write fit for United and his love for the game and him in general have been on a bit of a downward spiral but he will bounce back. Make no mistake of that,
