What is the solution to the problem of a flagging midfield losing control of the game in 2nd halves?

All our players need to provide a high level of technical security on the ball in the first phase of the build up.

The keeper should be upgraded upon as a priority and the midfield needs to be upgraded by a deep roaming midfielder who has the ability to provide a high level of ball security in possession along with the ability to carry the ball.

We have a manager who wants to play like a City, Barcelona and even Arsenal. Where exerting zonal and positional control in all phases of play is the aim. But we aren't going to play like those teams if we carry on with the current goalkeeper.

Sign good young midfielders, give the good young midfielders already in your team (Iqbal) opportunities. That is the solution.

Is this still a thing?
Also, how much do we really miss Eriksen? Have to say we're pulling off some quality performances.

I think ETH has found a nice balance to the team now.
