What is Luis Suarez worth?

If there's one thing we learned tonight its that Suarez is pretty priceless to Liverpool.

The rest of Liverpool's attack looked fairly blunt without Suarez, and that's with a good player in Rooney filling in for him.

Spurs found out the hard way this season that a pile of cash and a selection of new players in no instant replacement for the best player in the country.

I know this isn't a popular opinion, but because of how good he is I find it hard to dislike him.

He's had many, MANY twatish moments - but if he does leave Liverpool, I do think I'll like him. Why? I have no idea. A year ago, I couldn't stand the guy.

He's a joy to watch.

He's too ugly to be enjoyable to watch. Nearly fecking crying after each goal the massive cnut.

When Ronaldo left us people said the same thing, but the only difference is that we had SAF's genius to pull us through. Liverpool will amount to nothing again when Suarez leaves.

We didn't learn anything tonight. England play a completely different system to us and they have an incompetent manager.

With Spain out of the World Cup he'll be on the front cover of Marca on a daily basis from next week.

That's true but having trained and played together all season, I'd have hoped for a bit more fluidity between Gerrard, Henderson, Sterling and Sturridge.

He's a beast and proved today why he's the best striker in the world. His movements off the ball and selfless play made Uruguay play so much better. Even fecking Cavani transformed into a pro footballer.

High stakes game, after watching that disaster against CR and spending an entire month trying to be ready. No, of course you wouldn't.

That was the difference between him, Pereira, or the entire Uruguay side and that bunch of feckless superstars: caring.

Must be disconcerting for Liverpool fans to see a player who is the most likely to leave do well half injured, while the one who are going to stay, including captain fantabulous, look complete dog-shit.

Unfortunately international form tends to mean absolutely nothing

Just watched the England match. His second goal was amazing. The ball was bouncing awkwardly and he still hit an extremely powerful strike. It was an excellent goal worthy of a winner. Shame this guy is a cnut on the field. Hope he improves his behaviour. Hate that he is a Liverpool player. Makes it hard to like him, but I appreciate his football.

"Before the game too many people in England laughed about my attitude over the last few years. This is a very good time for me. I want to see what they think now."

Not really. I just enjoy watching him light up the world cup.

You'd have to be a crybaby to think like that.

Stop speaking like you're the Liverpool chairman, you dozy cnut Dumbstar.

And after over a decade on here of making stupid statements that we've all dug up and laughed at in retrospect, you still haven't learned, have you?

I think I speak for people in England when I say that we all still think he's a cheating, biting, racist who is very good at football. Last nights two goals have done nothing to change that. We all knew he was a fantastic player.

His comments suggest people questioned his ability or workrate which nobody, even those who hate him the most, has done.

MD predictably leading with a story of the club's pursuit of the player, Alexis linked to the Reds as part of the operation, as well. What I didn't realize is that the family of Luis' wife is from Barcelona

Well done for being the kind of person that his comment was supposed to rile...dare I say, you "bit"?

Wishful thinking RedCaf comment No.4,367 regarding Suarez at Liverpool

Again, if you have so many problems about Redcafe and the thinking about Suarez, why don't you simply feck off from this place?

Every other post of yours is something about this only.

No doubting his brilliance. Absolutely blinding player at the top of his game at the moment. After those two strikes I reckon the big clubs (sorry Liverpool) are going to throw money at him to get him this summer.

wish he was a little bit more respectful to England and it's people, where he has been afforded the opportunity to earn vast sums of money because of the very wealthy state of our football. Sure he has had his critics, but mainly on things have has brought about himself, some of which he has recently admitted to in some articles.

Those were for show, he clearly feels being harshly criticized and treated by the media in England.
