This would probably have been too early for Nightwish to win. Europe wasn't ready.
Just saw the lineup for this year's Riot Fest. Mastodon is performing their classic LP "Leviathan", so I am listening to that right now. It still slays. If you don't know this album, it's a concept album on Moby Dick.
Nice enough voice.
Thought you might like this one @nimic - even now 50 years on there's so much wrong about it it ends up being good. Nice.

This played on the radio a few days ago and I can’t get it out of my head. Great song.
Toro Y Moi delving into Pop Punk now. Wasn't sure at first but it's growing on me. The man can do so many different styles. I really enjoyed Mahal and loved Outer Peace, so looking forward to whatever is next.

Been listening a lot since the gig in Thursday
Was my Stag Do a fortnight ago. and the lads took me to Manchester for it. Spent the Saturday night in the Bierkeller in Printworks, me dressed as a Fraulein and the lads in their Lederhosen 
Anyway, had a fantastic night and there was a live band on doing covers of loads of songs. They were tremendous and I've ended up putting a playlist together with what I can remember they played and listened non stop. Lost my voice to All These Things That I've Done, Sit Down, This Is The One, Not Nineteen Forever, Bitter Sweet Symphony. What a night with fantastic music.
