Yup. I know of both of those versions and have listened to the original version. The version by the Clash is probably the most well known in the UK, especially by younger people.

The latest episode (2) of Rogue Heroes played Sham 69 and the New Yor Dolls. I’ve never heard either but they both sounded damm good.

I've gone down a huge Ska binge the last few weeks. I've always loved Ska like Streetlight Manifesto, Less Than Jake etc

But recently I've become hooked on Call Me Malcolm. They're a little more aggressive and quicker tempo, but their lyrics are fecking catchy. I find myself sometimes skipping songs in a ska playlist just to get to the next one.

I'm a guitarist but their stuff makes me really want to pick up a bass
