West Ham have sent a begging letter to the Premier League’s top clubs ahead of the January transfer window as part of their desperate bid to boost their squad.

The Hammers have made specific enquiries over Michy Batshuayi, Daniel Sturridge, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial as they try to land a striker on loan, but have also made a more general plea to the leading clubs.

West Ham have sent letters out to Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United asking whether they have any strikers, full-backs or central defenders they would be prepared to loan out in the January window.
Other than Batshuayi, Sturridge, Rashford and Martial, West Ham are interested in the likes of Chris Smalling, Branislav Ivanovic, Mamadou Sakho, Mathieu Debuchy and Carl Jenkinson, who has already spent two previous spells on loan with the Hammers.

West Ham’s enquiries for the likes of Rashford, Martial and Smalling are more in hope than expectation, but the club feel it is worth asking the question before moving on to other, more realistic, targets.
Hull City, Swansea City and Aston Villa are also interested in Jenkinson, but West Ham could rival that trio of clubs for his loan signature if they are unsuccessful with other moves.

Despite the fact Tottenham Hotspur have central defender Kevin Wimmer, who can also play at full-back, West Ham have not sent their begging letter to their fierce rivals.

Tottenham and West Ham have refused to do business with each other during recent seasons, with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy blocking the Hammers’ January bid to sign Emmanuel Adebayor two years ago.
Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg have shown an interest in taking Wimmer back to the Bundesliga, while the Austrian is also thought to be on Southampton’s radar.

Tottenham are unlikely to allow Wimmer to leave in January, but a move at the end of the season could be considered.
Payet for money + rashford on loan could be a good deal for us. This looks to be leaked by one of the club who were sent the letters.

Their fans smash up our bus, their owner denies that it happened, blames it all on United, claims that the match should be abandoned and West Ham awarded the points. Sure let's loan our bezzy mates West Ham some players.

Maybe we should copyPaste the letter and send it to Real, Bayern, Atletico, Juve and Barca?

Tell em to do one. I'll never forgive them for what their fans did to our coach. Enjoy relegation.

Really got a nerve don't they?

I second the hopes of their relegation.

I genuinely think we should be nice to them, it's Christmas, they're struggling, therefore I think it's only right that we sell them top notch players like Fellaini, Young, Memphis, and Darmian.

Do the right thing, Woodie.

Hilarious that they think we'd loan the Martial. Do they want a 3 month loan of Pogba while we're at it.

feck them.

They're so desperate to be a 'big club' it's unreal.

I hope they get relegated.

Rashford and Martial :lol::lol:

If that happens, I'm done with football.

Only Rashford and Martial? Why don't they ask for DDG, Ibra and Pogba too while at it. We might even try and convince SAF to return to football to manage them

Some mean people, our fans. :nono:

Be nice. How about give us 30 mil and Payet, then we can give them Fellaini & Memphis in return?! :wenger::devil:

Edit: Anyways, at least WestHam is decent enough to recognize "big five". Tottenham is put in their rightful place.

BBC insists Memphis cost £31m. A cut price of £28m for him is a very festive gesture.

wtf, don't want Payet, especially for 30M. Also, Rashford and Martial, on loan? get fecked WHU

You can have Fellaini and Young, and maybe Memphis though, for 20mils each.

Small club.

feck em.

Seeing as they are United too, we shouldn't just give them whatever they need? If and whenever they need a bigger stadium (relegation battles can be fun), more revenues, sponsorship deals - whatever really.

Aside from the absolute cheek of it all, would it benefit Rashford to get a season out on loan?

A lot of my colleagues are west ham fans and they hate their own fan base. Not many sets of fans openly despise their own

Well put it this way would he be better learning from Andy Carrol or Ibra?

Err, Mark Noble of course.. :wenger:

I tell you what, admit Mark Noble is a cnut and we'll give you five minutes with Andy Tate...

The fecking cheek!

They're already propped up enough by the fecking taxpayer.

Even if this isn't true, I choose to believe it is so I have another reason to hate them.

Feck those ubercnuts. Offer them Fellaini and Depay for £50 or tell them to get fecked. Hope they get relegated along with Sunderland.
