West Bromwich v Manchester United

VDS

Rafael
Smalling
Evans
Evra

Rooney
Gibson
O'Shea
Bebe

Hernandez
Macheda

van der Sar

Rafael
Ferdinand
Vidic
Evra

Nani
Carrick
Anderson
Obertan

Rooney
Berbatov

SUBS: Kuszczak, Neville, Smalling, Fletcher, Giggs, Hernandez, Macheda.

Then we rest Ferdinand, Evra, Anderson and Rooney (or drop :p) against Stoke to be ready for Liverpool, and hopefully Scholes will be back for then too.

so then vs Stoke: van der Sar, Rafael, Smalling, Vidic, O'Shea, Nani, Fletcher, Carrick, Giggs, Berbatov, Hernandez.

changes i would do nani for giggs, fletch for gibson and if rest a striker for hernandez

Not good. Hope we can finally get a win away. It's been far too long.

------------ VDS --------------
Rafael --- Rio --- Vidic --- Evra
Nani - Carrick - Fletcher - Obertan
------ Rooney --- Berbatov -----

Subs : PIG, Smalling, O'shea, Anderson, Giggs, Scholes (?), Hernandez

Away game, need a win badly, start with the best possible line-up. I'd still rest Anderson though for Stoke and Liverpool.

You honestly think we'll give Obertan a chance?

No i think your right Jay i think Obertan will start this, Giggs wont mate he wont start 3 matches in 6 days not at 37 and having played the full 90 last night, ill be shocked if Giggs starts this.

I think Fergie will freshen things up for this, can see 3/4 maybe even 5 changes myself, if Nani is fit he will play god i hope he is im missing him already! Fletcher will start having not played either festive fixture so far, Obertan in for Giggs as Giggs wont start another game so soon and Park and Valencia out means Obertans pretty much all thats left out wide, i wouldnt be at all surprised if we start one of Hernandez/Macheda/owen alongside Berbatov either, then theres the question of Ferdinand, is it wise to play him 3 full games in 6 days? again wouldnt be shocked to see Evans come in there.

Depends on how fergie sees it but i think theyll be some freshening up for this, my predicted eleven:

...Van Der Sar
Rafael - Vidic - Evans - Evra

Nani - Fletcher - Carrick - Obertan
Hernandez - Berbatov

Bench: Rooney, Giggs, Anderson, Macheda, Smalling, O'Shea, Pig

Interesting to note West Brom lost at home last night 3-1 to Blackburn...

11th September, Everton (A) 3-3
26th September, Bolton (A) 2-2
13th November, Aston Villa (A) 2-2

Our three early away kick-off's this season.

Ta

So we should expect a high scoring draw?

what is Evans name doing here????

it will be all change...

but Come On!!!!

O'Shea's a doubt, Brown's a doubt, Smalling couldn't make the last game either apparently and Vida's only a booking away from missing the next match.

I don't blame anyone for suggesting Evans ... certainly wouldn't want Carrick or Neville back at CB if it could be avoided.

He is an international centreback afterall!

The next match being Stoke at home right? I rather have Vidic for WBA away than Stoke at home which we should win anyway.

0-1 Nani 17
0-2 Rooney 42
0-3 Scholes 68
0-4 Owen 72
1-4 Odemwingie 74
2-4 Morrison 82
3-4 Miller 90
4-4 Odemwingie 90+3

This

Although it will be 5-5 and all their goals will come in the space of 2.5 minutes at the end of the match

I thought players get a clean slate after December 31st.

Game is a must win after another draw and Arsenal messing up their chance to close the gap by 2 points. We have to pull out a win.

van der Sar
Rafael Ferdinand Vidic Evra
Nani Fletcher Anderson Obertan
Berbatov Rooney
--
Kuszczak; Neville, Smalling; Carrick, Giggs; Hernandez, Macheda

Their back line is fecked, Rooney needs a goal so hopefully he gets it here. Berbatov will probably score and I expect a good return from Nani if he's fit and something from Obertan... We'll feck them. (With Obertans head).

0-1 Nani 17
0-2 Rooney 42
0-3 Scholes 68
0-4 Owen 72
1-4 Odemwingie 74
2-4 Morrison 82
3-4 Miller 90
4-4 Odemwingie 90+3

This may actually be the funniest thing I've ever read.

You think Ishmael Miller can score goals

If Nani is still injured, I would go with...

....................................VDS

Raph-----------Vidic-------------Rio--------------Evra

--------Fletcher-------Carriack------Anderson

----------------------Berbatov

-----------Rooney---------------Hernandez

Win 5-1.

With Park out and Nani injured, id play Evra on the wing and JOS as left-back,,,

West Brom play attacking football so I am expecting a much more open game than the dire Birmingham match. I'm also confident that we'll win, brace for Berrbatov.

I reckon Fletcher will come in and maybe Obertan and Smalling.

Fergie says Nani more likely to return against Stoke, Scholes still out.

Both starting tomorrow, then.

If Nani dosnt make it tomorrow we look pretty fecked on the wings for this, already without Park and Valencia, cant see Giggs starting 3 games in 6 days either.

Maybe a similiar sort of side to what we lined up at Spurs last season? ie Fletcher right Carrick Anderson in midfield and Obertan left?

feck knows.

If Nani is still out, and reluctant to start Giggs again in such a short space of days, then the midfield could be:

Obertan----Carrick----Anderson----Rooney

Then put Chicharito up front with Berba. Or like you say, Fletch on the right and Obertan on left with Rooney/Berba up front.

why smalling?Vida an Rio are ok.

I think rooney will score tomorrow

They are likely to play 4-5-1 arn't they? It's gonna be crowded in midfield again.

Obertan must start

why?

He could play Evra left midfield and Fabio left back

--------VDS--------
Rafa--Vidic--Rio--Fafa
Fletcher--Carrick--Anderson/Gibson--Evra
----Berba---Rooney----

against Stoke, id probably put Brown (if fit) in instead of Rafa

EDIT: all assuming Nani is injured etc

Do know who's definitely out?

0 - 1 Berbatov 12'
0 - 2 Nani 27'
0 - 3 Berbatov 77'
1 - 3 Hangeland 89'
2 - 3 Arteta 90'
3 - 3 Bowyer 90+2'
