Wesley Sneijder

improving creativity in your team by offering your most creative player to sign a another creative player doesn'y really seem like it would solve the problem.

Sneijder would be a good signing in my opinion but losing Nani should not be a option.

Just got this sneaky feeling that Sneijder will sign for us.

Me too. Think we've been trying to do a deal for Sneijder for the past couple of months. Regardless of what the papers say with Inter and Chelsea. I'm sure us and Sneijder's agent have already spoke.

new "rumours" suggesting that his wife wants to live in London. (meh)
can we just ask Vida what kind of threats he used against his wife last summer?

This will work out well for the club I am sure. Thanks for everything nani. You will be missed.

So we're going to lose Nani, Sneijder will probably snub us and we've signed some Blackburn player - where's that thread about feeling hurt and mentally scarred because of SAF's transfer policy when you need it? I think I'm going to blow my brains out. Even Liverpool are chucking money around!

of the 3 strong probables...De Gea, Young and Jones, I am most excited about Jones.

don't worry. Fergie will get the players he wants.

HE IS GOING TO BARCA!!!! TIME TO END IT ALL!!!!!!

It's his birthday today. He said this;

"There's a family atmosphere at Inter and the signs are that there's plenty of success ahead. Milan is marvellous, picturesque - an elegant city; I love it. At the moment I'm extremely happy here and I don't see any reason why I should leave." That was Wesley Sneijder speaking to The Sport Editions on his birthday. (ANSA)

It's posturing. Somethings clearly going on. The way he phrased it makes it sound like he's coming to United.

Inter midfielder Wesley Sneijder has stated that he wants to remain at San Siro despite having been strongly linked with Premier League champions Manchester United.

However, despite the rumours, the 27-year-old has made it clear that he wants to remain in Milan.

"There is a family atmosphere at Inter and there are all the ingredients to aim high," he said, according to Corriere dello Sport.

"Milan is marvellous, picturesque and full of elegance. I love it. At the moment I am very happy here and I don't see why I should leave."

To sum that up shortly

"Inter pay me £200 000 a week, I won't leave unless someone offers me more than that"

;)

Manchester United 'target'?

Were there any concrete evidence that we were even remotely interested in the player in the first place?

None that I've seen; just a shit load of speculation. Anyway, even if he were a legitimate target, there's no way we'd pay him the £200,000 a week he claims to be on at Inter.

So Wesley Sneijder stays at Inter because #MUFC and #CFC refused to match his 7m net salary. At last, sensible decisions from PL clubs

feck me.

A nice, PC way of saying Manchester is not his ideal location.

Unless the money is right.

Thanks goodness we are not paying him the money he wanted.

Can you imagine what that would do to our wage structure.

Move on SAF!

Wayne Rooney get at least as much as that doesn't he?

Top player who'd be a star in the PL. Dont want him at any rival clubs so hopefully if its not United he's staying at Inter.

I thought it was a 7m NET demand. Isn't that about 270K gross per week?

Which is a match to his current 300,000 Euros wage.

Player wages are normally quoted gross, aren't they?

"refused to match his 7m net salary" What a greedy player, it's enough paying Wayne big money.

There was always the debate over how he'd fit in but he seems very greedy and I think that will have diluted any interest Fergie may have had.
