Gill isn't answering his phone apparently and it was a foreign dial tone.

Interesting.

He's got problems with british gas and has been put through to a foreign call centre. I'm talking to him on skype. He says hi.

I've been looking at live webcams of Milan city centre all day and haven't seen Sneijder yet...looks promising

stop talking about sneijder! It was just an opinion from me! I didn't say hes gonna sign for us, but hes just a good player! Thats it!

I know its twitter... but just seen this tweet re-tweeted hundreds of times on the #mufc hashtag.

"According to goal.com, David Gill has arrived in Italy to finalize the transfer of Wesley Sneijder"

*Looks forward to seeing the photoshops of Gill around Milan*

Interestingly enough, the only reports in Italy stating that United are close to signing Sneijder are based on Neil Custis report in the Sun....hardly the most reliable source on the planer

Just getting the cash.

So, if we do spend 35m on Sneijder, that's a lot of money for a 27 year old. :nervous:

I cant see us offering that much for sure... it will also have a considerable negative impact on the profit & loss report.

Maybe that's why there was talk of a part exchange involving Nani, but my impression is that Inter want only cash. If they sell him for 35m, they could show a 20m profit in their accounts.

Most of the press here in Croatia is reporting Sneijder as a done deal for United. But then again they're all shite and must sell papers so...

Thats the thing tho, are newspapers actually selling any extra papers these days or are they selling less more to the point?!

Sure newspapers are mostly selling yesterdays news, whereas the internet has everything up-to-date!
