Despite his form in the last 3 years, he's a club legend.
United win the game?Nothing makes me more happier than seeing Rooney's name on the team sheet
congrats wayne for the goal.. lets add more goals again!
In all seriousness he's been involved with the best exchanges in the match. One touch passing he hasn't displayed in two odd years.
He's been absolutely magnificent. Right from the great first touch to the goal to the lovely linkup play and the brilliant balls to Rashford and Martial. He should always play up top when he does play.
I'm sure this gets trotted out every time he has a decent game. It can't always be his best game for two years
Yeah I'm the one who's blinkered Mr White Pele.
I'm not calling for him to start games. When he does play, this should be his position. He's been very threatening all day and capped it with the goal and assist.FFS not this again

Thats where Jose said he will play. He's been absolutely magnificent. Right from the great first touch to the goal to the lovely linkup play and the brilliant balls to Rashford and Martial. He should always play up top when he does play.
Well if we have more piss easy games like these then no problem
Thats where Jose said he will play.
But that would mean limited chances, especially with Zlatan at the club.
Anyhow, congratulations to him today. Not his biggest fan, but he's been a very good player for us over the years.
He wasn't playing up top anyway, he is shite up top always. Also, just month ago you were saying he should start on the left.
Why is so hard just to appreciate a good performance? No one is calling for him to start playing important games or calling him "brilliant" again. He had a super game today and that's about it. The sort of toxicity in this thread is really sad.Back to "he's a brilliant player" crap.
An absolute dead weight for 3 years. Thats reality.

Yup.Eh? The City goal?

Oh right. I was about to say how on earth is that decided. Not sure I agree but still, the rest of the records speak for themselves.Yup.

It's a good performance irrespective of who the opposition. Just because its a rubbish team, does it mean he played badly? He's not going to start any league games and fair enough, he's not good enough to get in the team but I just don't understand why it's hard to accept that he had a super game today.A goal that he shinned in by all acounts?
Good performance at home to Reading, even you dont love him that much?
He doesn't really play against them and rightly so, for now.Played well today, I just hope this isn't because we've found his level. Need some more games like this against top opposition.
